So when out in the world people are using /sh to look for groups? or is it something else?

There isn't a general chat feature for each zone? so it must be /sh I'd assume.

the reason I'm asking is I'm almost @15 (done a lot of exploring) and this friday I want to try a dungeon.

I have shout blocked. One of the outer zones involed about 10 ppl shouting to each other about female players and how they
hate them. You can imagine how heated it got.

I may turn it, maybe. If they had an easier way to block someone I would'ave done that instead.

Actually a better feature is to edit your search comment.

Open your social/party window and right-click your name and choose "Edit search comment".

There you can set your status icon as "looking for party" and click the job you want to use in a party. Also additional languages, if you're comfortable with them.

In the text box below you can enter the dungeon, or guildhest you're looking a party for.
I also put a (Looking for Party) in autotranslator mode in there to show that I'm not afraid of multilanguage parties.
I've got invited twice this way, while doing other stuff. Together with the teleports this is really handy.

Of course, this is probably all moot once the Duty Finder is available.

That is true, I was hoping to see the finder tool to be for your own realm but again having cross server allows for more people in the" pool" at any given time, 6 months after release when you are leveling a new job a high % of players on your realm will be doing end game stuff so you need to access other realms.

I all ways play healers / support..

Yea this is one thing all games are starting to get correct, make dungeon finders cross server. The Duty Finder will be a nice addition for us healers and everyone really. Other then the story quests I just really love dungeon leveling on my CNJ.

I'm almost positive you can /blacklist players so that you just don't hear them. Pretty sure I did that with a couple people making gay or racial slurs. It's unfortunate that people like that even exist, but thankfully there are ways to make sure you never have to interact with them.
