No idea what I pressed but now I'm stuck in JP language on my chat. It's so aggravating when something happens like this and you can't figure out how to fix it. I have to search online to find an answer.

This kept happening to me too, seemingly randomly. It's a simple fix, though.
The tilde key (~) toggles between Japanese and English.

Thank you! I didn't try your fix but I did toggle the ps3 keyboard on and then off and it corrected it.
that was very very annoying, I had just joined a group and we were doing very well and it was very fun, ended poorly.
