Most "international" server.Follow

#1 Jun 25 2013 at 9:50 AM Rating: Good
Hi! Im an Italian gamer that does his best to stay away from the italian community =D
I enjoyed FFXI - with all its flaws - because it was awesome to have a friend list filled with people from all over the world.
I had a blats even just trying to communicate with Japanese players... my ideal party had a mix of EU, NA and JP experienced players obliterating anything in sight and having fun!
I would like to play on a JP server with a strong presence of western players, or viceversa.
Any hint for me?
See you soon in game!

Well, game hasn't launched yet, so no idea what servers will be more "international". So, do you speak Japanese? Because that's the only reason I'd see in seeing you gravitate more to them. If so, just pick a Japanese server and hope for the best, really.

(I don't speak any Japanese) (Japanese) (Party)? (Yes, please)

Never had a problem: if you do your job they'll invite you again.
I think they are - generally - good players and polite people.
Two things that i rarely see together in videogames.
I dont want to start a flame but - generally - from my experience - like German gamers are the best in Europe, Japanese gamers are the best worldwide.
Of course i dont want to relegate myself to playing with Japanese, thats why im searching for the most "international" of the servers.

But i understand that the game didnt start yet, and there isnt a "trend" on any server.

Um, yea...

Then it's best to pick an NA server. Honestly, JP players might invite you for an EXP party, or maybe an event if they are really desperate, but these days, for anything that takes teamwork and communication, they aren't really into doing auto-translate. I totally get it. If your character is in an important role and it takes them twice as long to get you to understand what to do...

I, too, dislike New Jersey.

On the Official Beta forums I saw a post talking about international servers. It seemed like it was a Japanese player making the post and they were strongly suggesting Atmos from the Japanese list and Adamantoise from the NA/EU list.

All of the Aussies and South East Asian English speakers are on Tonberry (New, Japanese server). We have a good mix of English speakers and Japanese speakers there.
