To help keep those up to date with the progress of phase 3, here is the breakdown of this weekends test. This is from the official beta forums

Quote:

Thank you for your participation in the beta test for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.

The testing schedule is detailed below.

Dates and Times
June 28, 2013 (Friday), 2:00 a.m. to June 30 (Sunday), 2:00 a.m. (PDT)
June 28, 2013 (Friday), 9:00 a.m. to June 30 (Sunday), 9:00 a.m. (GMT)

Testing Requests
Transferring character data from Version 1.0
* Please see below for further details.
Basic functions of the PlayStation 3 version
Check for server stress due to battle system revisions
Verify changes based on all feedback up to beta test phase 2
In the event that testers are asked to test additional content, separate notifications will be sent.

Issues causing the PlayStation 3 to crash as well as error 90000 have been made a top priority. As we continue to investigate the source of these issues, any bugs encountered during this weekend's testing will be addressed on an ongoing basis.

Although testing of the duty finder was scheduled for Test 3, final QA checks of the system are still in progress. Stress testing of the duty finder will be conducted during Test 4 at the earliest.

We deeply apologize for the delay of duty finder testing, and ask for your continued cooperation.

Testing Scope
Scope on Beta test will be announced at a later date.

Test Worlds
For phase 3, the following worlds will be made available.
Group JP (Japan Data Center)
Atomos / Bahamut / Chocobo / Mandragora / Tiamat / Tonberry / Garuda / Ifrit / Ramuh / Titan
Group NA/EU (North America/Europe Data Center)
Adamantoise / Behemoth / Cactuar / Cerberus(*) / Coeurl / Goblin / Malboro / Moogle(*)
Ultros / Diabolos / Gilgamesh / Leviathan / Midgardsormr / Odin(*) / Shiva(*)

When selecting a World after creating a character, clicking Group NA/EU at the top right of the screen will display a list of worlds available for the North America/Europe region.

* Cerberus/Moogle/Odin/Shiva are recommended for players in the European time zones. Please note this is a recommendation only; players from other regions are free to play on these servers.
* Game content is the same on every world.

Legacy Worlds - Group JP (Japan Data Center)
Ageis / Durandal / Gugnir / Masamune / Ridill
Legacy Worlds - Group NA/EU (North America/Europe Data Center)
Balmung / Excalibur / Hyperion / Sargatanas / Ragnarok
* In order to facilitate the testing of character transfers from Version 1.0, as well as server stability, new characters cannot be created on Legacy Worlds. After carefully monitoring server traffic and congestion, this restriction will be lifted when these Worlds are confirmed to be stable.

Transferring Character Data from Version 1.0
After logging in, clicking World Selection at the character selection screen will now display a list of Worlds including Legacy Worlds. Selecting a World with Version 1.0 character data will display any characters available on said World.

Please try selecting your 1.0 characters and confirm your character data has been transferred correctly.

Please note that due to a number of system changes, certain items can no longer be used or their attributes may have changed. Also, the methods for obtaining certain items and unlocking certain features may have also changed. Please review the following topics for more details on these changes:
Transferring Character Data to FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn
Changes to Existing Items and the Monetary System in FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn
Should you encounter an issue with character transfer, please send a report through the support center(NA/EU).

Customer Support
Customer support will be available as of phase 3. Although support will be available for game-related questions, GM support is not scheduled until phase 4.

Please review the details of customer support.

New Lodestone
Tests of the new Lodestone will also be conducted during phase 3. We encourage you to try the new Lodestone and provide us with feedback.
* Proceed to the new Lodestone.
* Please review the details of the new Lodestone test.

Login Restrictions
When the login server is heavily congested, testers may receive the following error message when attempting to log in to a world:
"This World is currently full. Players in queue: XX"
This message will also indicate the number of players waiting to log in. In the event you receive this error message, please wait until you are automatically logged in to the world.

Also, depending on the circumstances, we may restrict the number of players allowed to log in to a world. In the event login restrictions are put in place, testers may receive the following error message:
"This World is currently full. Please wait until an opening is available and try again."
In the event you receive this error message, please try logging in at a later time.

Submitting Bug Reports
If you encounter any bugs, please post a detailed description in the Bug Reports sub-forum.
* Please be aware that bug reports can only be filed during the indicated testing periods. For more information, read how to file a bug report.

Submitting Feedback
If you have any comments or suggestions that you would like to submit, please post them in one of the following threads in the Feedback sub-forum:

Does any one know if they fixed the glitch for the boat crossing price, the one that runs from Ul'dah to Limsa Lominsa? It kept telling me i didnt have enough gil, turns out it was 55,000 gil to cross or is that the real amount? Read that it might be a glitch , just seem pretty high.

I can see some ragefaces coming from phase 4 when people think there gonna go crazy and lvl things but in reality its just another stress test for things that have been pushed back from phase 3. I really hope they make phase 3 longer and move these tests back into p3.

If they leave to test 3 class/jobs the DF and all the lvl 50 content i have a horrible feeling about bad reviews and first impressions when the **** hits the fan. That would make me sad panda for SE to get bad numbers due to them pushing testing back to far :(

When I looked at my account Cid was technically in the cancelled/to be cancelled section, but I was able to log on with him this past weekend.

A community rep on the official forums posted a message explaining the chat issue when using duty finder. It was a response to that.

You know of an overall roadmap? I remember one from way back, but if you have a current one, could you link it here?

Thanks!

Has this been the standard throughout the phases or is this something new?

Supposedly P4 will start around the last weekend of July or the first weekend of August. They've mentioned that they intend for P4 to be open for 3-4 days a week, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
