ARR coming to PS4Follow
Announced in the stream!
I am so lost. Yoshi acted like he would just "look into" the possibility.
Sony probably made that decision for him ;)
Well, that means I could buy one because it wouldn't be a waste of a sysem but I think I would rather buy a new tv for my PS3 instead of a PS4 for my old LCD TV, which is still pretty good but not as good as the ones out now, that's for sure.
It's going to depend a lot on where they price it for me. I'm liking some of the other exclusives and now KH 3 and FF XV...gonna be hard to let those go past.
Damn...and now their announcing ESO for PS4 too...with an exclusive first entry to Beta..

Although this is good news...I am a little worried how long it's going to take before we get the "ps3 limitations". I know they promised ps3 users that 14 would come to them, and it's nice seing them fulfill that promise, but would it have been smarter to just have it on ps4 at this point?
in XI they were throwing around "ps2 limitations" a lot, and i would hate to see this happen at the start of ARR when the ps3's life is coming to an end (not right away, but maybe 2~ years after the ps4 is out).

There are just too many PS3 owners that won't be early adopters

The only thing that confused me a bit was about PS Plus. Did I understand wrong or do you have to pay for PS Plus in order to game online?

It requires PS+ membership for multiplayer, Not sure if this is going to apply to ARR or not.
Apparently it doesn't have any restrictions on used games or sharing games like the Xbox one dose.

You don't need PS +, but it has it's benefits.

Wint, I was thinking of you during that whole announcement lolol. The icons they used for the games were different than the image you posted, but that's still weird!
I'm super happy that it turned out to be true, of course. I'm definitely considering a PS4 right now. About PS+, yeah, it's looking like they're making it like XBL Gold.
I guess it's the lesser of two evils though.

Well if it does it would honestly just push me over to get a membership. It's been getting harder and harder to talk myself out o getting it.
PSN is going to mandatory to play online multiplayer on the ps4. I hope PSN is not required to play ps4 mmos...

I paid more than that for my Sony Bluray 3. I will definitely be picking one up for those kick back on the chaise and fish nights.

I doubt it, unless Yoshi-P has been fooling us.
Both the Xbone and the PS4 just use PC parts, so one would assume ARR will be easy to port though
I just preordered my PS4, I've never done that before, I'm pretty jazzed.
