Hey guys, starting this month for the first time. i hear gridania is mostly dead, but id like to be there (since im a windurstian)
so are there any servers were its more alive, or is it dead everyware?

Dead, as in nothing in Market Ward, yes.
Dead, as in nobody in town, no.
Gridania and the surrounding saw more activities than LL, not just because of Moogles. Depends on servers, some populated ones like Gysahl see a lot of people (mostly JP) joining Twin Adders. In JP peak hours, I can see a lot of people doing leves and chocobo escorts in Treespeak (Grid lvl 40 crystal).
