No problem, if you want to hear about ridiculous prices and what not.. I'll tell you a day in the life of a level 20+ Archer.

I sell everything that get, pelts which can be used for crafting, meats and more simply to make space for arrows. I fight things that I miss more than I hit, so I need better arrows, 3,989gil per stock of 99 arrows which runs out in about 5 minutes of fighting.

So I need about 20-25 stocks on 99 arrows at 3,989gils each every time I go to stock up on arrows.

The bow, I have a Plummed Willow Short Bow, which I bought for 200,000gil when it was still rare. Now, you can buy this bow for 50,000 near every Carpenter/Leather worker spot you find.

The armor, the armor sucks, is expensive, hard to find and nearly impossible to make unless you're level 15+. The only good armor you'll find is at level 12, when you can get a Grey Chainmail up until you hit level 19 and get a white Tunic. Then you'll go to level 21 and get a Blue Canvas unit.

But between level 12-19 you'll be taking more damage than you should, causing your death quite a few times ;(

Lol, not my intention. But being an archer is expensive and barely any gears suits it because of the lack in dex/str or dex/vit suits.

I just downgraded my armor from level 22 stuff to lvl.19, simply because the level 19 profited archers and the 22 didn't, but the 22 however guarded my HP by a lot and I am noticing that now, which means I might be a tad bit weaker, but the defense is top notch.

I went completely insane and made a crafter create a Pink robe for me http://ffxiv.zam.com/en/item.html?ffxivitem=8031708 which ran me a few hundred thousand gils and matching boots.. turns out the farther the armor is from your Physical level.. the less defense you'll get from it.





Not to mention that fixing it costs two rings o.o....
