Ok, i am using auctioneer, and auctionator... how do i make it so that i will automatically buy the green items that would be best to de?
I use Auctioneer for the following.
In your Auction window, on the Browse tab, click the ">>" button up top. This will fast scan the entire AH, provided your pc has enough horsepower to handle it without disconnecting.
When it finishes (the ">" button shows back up, click the Search tab on the bottom. Expand out "Searchers" on the left. Select Disenchant.
In the Window, set your Min Discount to 50%.
Check Allow Bids, Allow Buyouts, Enable Individual maximum price.
Put 20g as the Maximum Price for Disenchant.
I set 2g as my Minimum profit.
If you are lower in your enchanting level, put a check in "use custom levels" to limit your enchanting skill setting, and don't put a minimum profit.
Your Price Valuation Method should be "Enchantrix".
Put a check in "Subtract auction fees".
The above are some suggested values to start with. You customize them to what you want, once you are familiar with it.
Now click the Search button. If a list of items shows up, these are the items you will buy. Press Ctrl-Shift-Alt to channge the Purchase button to Purchase All and click it.
Now each item will pop up a confirmation box where you will click "Yes".
In the ah window, you will see Pending Scans counting down. Let it go to Zero.
In chat, put "/enchantrix config" to pop up its config window. Select Automation on the left. In the window, check "Watch bags for disenchantable Items - USE WITH CARE". Put a check in Auto Disenchant rare (blue) items. I would Uncheck "Auto Disenchant epic".
When enchantrix sees a disenchantable item in your bag, it will let you de it, cancel, or put it on an ignore list. Obviously, you will put your own gear on the ignore list if it pops up.
Go to the mailbox and use something like "Postal" or "MailGet" Addon to get all your mail. As each disenchantable item comes in, click yes to disenchant.
Sell mats on AH with the Appraiser tab. I use price matching and batch posting, so I can post all my auctions with one click. Note that I've been doing it a long time and don't really even watch what I pay or sell for. You may want to pay a little closer attention at first.
Other things to note:
I recommend doing your buying on the AH twice a day if possible. Always do the fast scan first.
As you do your scans, you are building up a pricing history. You may want to wait for a few days worth of scans before you start buying (unless you are anxious to get started and a couple hundred gold doesn't bother you).
It is normal to be outbid on many auctions. That's ok. When you do win a bid, you may be making a good profit.
The mailbox will only hold so much. If your minimap has an envelope icon after you close the mailbox, wait a while for it to get the mail in it, then click the mailbox again.
If you like searching for disenchantable items, check out the Snatch search. I also have a snatch list of many tradegoods like popular gems, with a percent set at 25%. If someone is selling their popular tradegoods at 25% of value, I'll probably buy it and put it back up on the ah at a higher price.
Remember, it takes money to make money. I have no problem at all plunking down 500g during a buying session. I'll either get something I can de, or I'll lose the bid and get my money back. I may have 3k or more worth of items up for auction at any time. I actually am disappointed when things are a bit slow and my AH items falls below 1k (oh yeah, great addon called "Auction Profit" adds up your items currently up for auction).
You have to click yes on each item as the popup presents itself. You can't fully automate things, since that would be against Blizzard's TOS.
I do not buy armor or weapoons for resale. Any of those items coming into my bags are for disenchant. Don't get sucked into investing allot on an item, trying to make a killing on resale. Leave that to those who enjoy playing that market.
If you find you enjoy this, and want to do more of it, consider that I made a dk enchanter on the opposite faction and actually do this on both sides, doubling my profit. Periodically I'll enlist my son's account and the neutral AH to move money over to my main faction.
