This is to anyone who may have been in Garlaige Citadel this afternoon about 5:30 PST. I just want to apologize for training so many aggresive mobs to the lower lvl PT zone and carelessly risking your exp for my own. As a PLD I know about sacrafice but I was so deligted to finally wear my AF armor I ran out without sneak and had little regard for those who could be effected.
Burglecutt and Lilbobby were 2 among the pts that voiced their disgust with my actions and I responded very immaturely. Granted they exclaimed their disgust very verbally so i gave it right back, I shouldn't have.
If anyone happens to know these 2 or anyone effeted by what I did, please give them my humblest apologies, I regret my actions and the way I responded to their remarks. I also informed the GM about my careless MPK and the behavoir that followed. He excepted my apologies and let it go at that.

Again very sorry.

Sincerly,
Xtriton

Grats on your AF.

Honestly if you forgot to sneak then that's your fault but if you ever notice that most people camp right at a zone so if anyone runs for their life for the zone the mobs will get them as well. That is not an MPK, that's just you running for your life. If you gave a warning then it's their fault for not moving. To many players are to worried about xp that they miss out on the fun aspect of the game.

Yay I'll admitt at one point in my game play I'd get pissed if someone trained a bunch of mobs on us.

Call an GM for the fun of it, and ask the offical definition of MPK, or what they regard as MPK. I know of many people that trained many mobs to a zone to save their *** and not once have they been put in jail or whatever...I have done it tons of times myself (no on purpose) to save my ***, and like I said not ever once have I been put in Jail....

I have one Violation on my record because I told a GM to **** off. So out of 125 days of game play 400 deaths, 40000 mobs killed I think people just get to damn mad.

Thanks UNCTGTG. Reputation can help or hender you in this game, so it pays to be considerate of other player. Hind-sight is 20/20. I can think of a few things I wish I could have done different. If it was actually considered my first offense then I guess I doing alright. I have been playing for a long time but I don't play often enough and there is a good chance those lower lvl guys may remember what I did. That may make life difficult getting a pt if suddenly the next time I need a pt they are the same lvl as me. Lol, oh well just a game, I won't loose sleep over it. :)

Like I usually say, you don't attempt to set up a camp in real life on a traintrack either, then why set a camp on a traintrack in game. True, in GC the spots for a camp are minimal but in other places you can find a safe camp well away from the traintrack to zone..

Lilbobby has done his share of stupidity in the past, no real need to apologize to him or for him to get angry. If you trained mobs then oh well. Don't let it happen again because yea, you save yourself but you might kill more than 1 other. Just enjoy the game and have fun because remember, we all make mistakes.
Btw, grats on AF.

True, but being helpful can get you a bad name as well, because others feel threatened by your helpfulness. You come in, help someone and that other person takes a hit on their ego. So they start saying **** about you. Most mercenarys hate my guts because if I see someone shouting or asking them for help I take business from them...I do my work for free if it's in my power too.

I come in help you with your AFs or G-1 or whatever. You say wow a stranger helping me (god forbid this ever happens. what is this world coming too). Then the player that is so called mr. popular feels threaten because someone took his glory.

Example. I wanted to be a part of a certain HNM and got denied because "I helped out the enemy" Sorry didn't know helping out killing a mob, when they called for help was helping out the enemy...

It does and doesn't.

[/sm][sm]**sidenote I give it 3 hrs from post for someone to call me an asshat, gil buyer, gil seller, or I'm just plain wrong.

It's amazing to see that people are more understanding then I thought. Good to know there may be a few kind hearted/understanding players still in the game.

Fockr: Thanks for reminding me that everyone does something dumb from time to time.

GenosHK: Chances are he's forgotten all about it but thanks for taking the time to do that.

UNCTGTG: You may not relize it but we are known to each other. Look around a bit closer, I bet you'll see me. Thanks again for your words of wisdom.
