Hello! I have been reading up on the ENMs available, and was wondering if anyone would be interested in possibly forming a semi static party for these. Since you have to wait 5 RL days to repeat the same ENMs, I was thinking that we could pick one day, that is convenient for everyone, and do atleast the 3 crags, once a week. If you are interested in this please post jobs @ 30 you can use, best day for you, and timezone that you are in so we can see if we can get something going.

If needed I could setup an LS to use for this, where we would just equip when we are planning or doing the ENMs. I hope to get some people for this!

Also for those who dont know, you dont need to have completed the promyvions to partake in this. You do not lose xp if you die in the ENM. Each completed ENM gives 3k xp, clusters, and an item that we trade to NPC for the lv 35 earrings.

Sirem:
RNG, BLM, WHM, DRK, NIN, WAR, SAM

Best days:
Weekend for sure, Weekdays after 4pm pacific

Timezone:
Pacific

Lets kick some ENM A$$!!!! :)

My LS has been doing this for a while now, and it has been working out very well, and is a great way to get people at all levels in your LS together to do something. A few things:
Quote:

While this is true, if you haven't completed all three Promyvions, you have to worry about erasing your memory in order to enter each Promyvion area. This can get a little annoying.

While you don't lose XP for death inside the ENM fight, you do lose XP, capped at the XP you would lose at level 30, if you die on your way to the spire where the ENM is located. It should be easy to get to the spire with a competent group, but mistakes do happen. To play it safe, I would expect to die at least once on any job I take, and plan accordingly. (ie: If you're only 100 into level 30, you might want to bring some level 29 gear with you). Deaths are rare, but they do happen.

Also, while you don't lose XP in the ENM battlefield, you do lose XP if you die after exiting the battlefield. Even worse, this area is uncapped, and you will lose XP at the full level of your job if you die here. This is extremely rare, but it's happened to at least one person in my LS. You have a close call in the ENM, someone makes a mistake, or whatever. You win the ENM, but you're nearly dead and poisoned. You open the treasure, get deposited outside where the level restriction wears off and... death.

Each of the Promyvion area ENM's gives 3k (other areas give more or less), but only if you are ALIVE when the treasure sphere thing is opened. If you are in Merit Mode, the XP will count as Limit Points towards your next Merit. The ENM battles are quite easy, but deaths do happen.

I advise that all WHM's take a Scroll of Instant Reraise with you, and use it AFTER entering the ENM arena. (If you use it before, the effect is removed when you select the ENM battle you want). This way, you can reraise yourself and raise any fallen party members so that everyone who comes along gets the 3k XP. It really sucks when you die doing an ENM, and everyone else gets the 3k but you don't. There is plenty of time for the ENM battles, so be sure to take the time and raise any dead before collecting the treasure.

The clusters are a 100% Drop. You usually get 3 of them, but none of the clusters are worth much. The earrings are worth a lot, but the item for the earrings has a fairly low drop rate. I've only seen 2 of them drop out of the countless ENM's that we've done so far. If you're going to do these ENM's regularly, do it to gain some XP on a job that needs some XP or Merit Points, not the loot.

If you want decent loot, the level 40 ENM's in Riverne Site #A01, after you've completed all three Promyvions and the Phomunia Aqueducts mission, drop some nice gear, as well as 2500 XP.

Nothing else that I can think of, really. If you've done the Promyvion boss battles, you know exactly what to expect in the ENM's. Each ENM battle is very similar to the corresponding Promyvion Boss Battle. You fight the same type of mob, and it uses basically the same attacks. The differences are Anima don't seem to work on the ENM bosses, but the ENM bosses are a little easier to kill without Anima anyway. The same strategies you would use for the Promyvion bosses work just as well on the ENM bosses.

One other little tip. You need a different key item to enter each ENM battlefield. The NPC in Ru'Lude Gardens gives out these key items, and this is where the restriction of one ENM per battlefield every 5 days is enforced (she won't give out the key items more often than that). When you talk to her, she asks you which crag you want to investigate, and you get a different key item for each crag that you pick. Every person who wants to enter the battlefield must have this key item!

You can talk to her three times in a row and get all three key items at the same time. Your ENM party can then Teleport to each crag (if your WHM is high enough) and face each ENM without returning to Jeuno. The first couple times, we didn't realize you could do this, making a lot of pointless trips back to Jeuno to talk to the NPC.

EDIT: Oh, one other thing. The ENM has a recommended limit of 6 people, but you can take more or less people into the battle. The 3000 XP reward is reduced for each person that you take into the battlefield beyond 6, but there is nothing stopping you from taking 18 people in and completely slaughtering the mob if you want. We've done this a few times with 7 people, and the XP only dropped by a couple hundred. I haven't tried it with more than 7 people. 6 people really is plenty to win these fights.

I believe it is 18000 experience divided by how many people you take in. 18000/6 = 3k exp per person.

hmmm.. wonder if a thf whm and ninja can trio this XD 6k in a few minutes Can I have it? XD

Anyway, this looks good to me, I can go as a nin or a thf. I'll need to buy new equipment for a ninja and I don't know if I have the room for that >.>;

i'm not sure if you can trio it but you sure can try. everything past the 2nd and 3rd teleporters are ITs. and the bosses give my LS a tough time with 6 people already.

btw, they cap exp at 3000 exp so bringing in 5 will still net you 3k exp and nothing more. so it is to your advantage to take a full party.

Like Phase said, yeah the exp's 18000/number of people, but capped at 3k. Which means its 3k/person with 6 & less, 2570 if go with 7.

Thx for the great hint that Anima doesn't function on those. Honostly never knew that & actually used a few on our LS's enm runs. That explained why it didn't help much T.T

As for trio...Yeah its not worth it if go for exp, but if the purpose is to bet on the slim chance of earring item drop and have less people sharing, suggest try 3 rng or smn(or any other job that have instant huge dmg 2hr. Lol Nin could try self-destruct too~)Those boss have far less hp than real Prom boss, 2hr x3 shall be able to sink it instantly.

Glad to see I'm getting some responses!

I was thinkin for people who want to attend we could have some gear that can be used for the ENMs. We could have the person in particular make some kind of deposit to use the armor for the day... Cuz I have a bunch of extra gear for all the jobs I can come as.

I'm getting back in the Game, but I could come along to Help. I still Need to do the Promys and check what Equipment I still have for my other jobs.

Is the Cap 30 for these Fights? I gotta do some research before I Jump into the ENM Scene, but it sounds like a Fun way to get some Xp, and take a break from the Grind
