What evil mind in Squaresoft gave that horrible drop rate to this G1 item? I did two runs yesterday to get the Papirus and really, this drop is incredible anoying, the first time was ok since a Ls mate got the drop (Foxhound was very kind of giving us help, and aside from getting all drops to her I got both CN and GC ones)
So having 2 of them, I called for help and finally I decided to hire a PLD for the job, not only took an incredible amount of time to get a drop, but another player in the party that was suposed to let me get first the Papirus overlotted me and got the drop... ¬_¬U
[ What a waste of time... I could have leveled Blm sub to 38+ in that time... >_< ]
We had TH in the party, but thinking in the next run and who to ask help from, will TH2 help get faster the drop, or even with TH2 will it be so damn anoying to get?
I dont think I will be too much time online this week, but if someone is around Eldieme doing stuff and killing Lichs in the way send me a tell if you dont mind just in case you get a non needed Papirus.

which entrance were you farming it at. I found the liches by the entrance off of glacier seem to drop better.
Whenever i go to the close entrance to jeuno i can be there for hours and hours and never see one, but the other entrance they drop in 10-25 kills.
Maybe its SE's way to make you spend more effort getting to the camp.

Hit me up with a tell and if I'm not busy I'll go with ya. I've had pretty good luck with getting the drops. I think my record is 3 in an hour. I do the glacier enterance and have a good camp for them. The only thing I ask is if I can have any seals and bonechips that may drop. I can solo these things just fine so there is no worry about having to get a group to go. Name in game is Tif.
Haha Got ya beat Tiff, my record is 3 in 45 minutes. :)~~ with two of them being in three kills.

:P Well you aren't as dependant on mp as I am. ;) Meteorite can really eat through it even with Carbs being free.
On the flip side of things, I think the worst rate I've ever seen was 1 drop in 6 hours. THAT was stressful..especially since we were there for 3 people.
Longest runs I had was when I reached 50. I got lucky with mine, 2 high level friends were in the zone doing something else, and killed a few liches on the way to where they were going and it dropped off the second one, so they allianced with my party so I could lot it.... or did they alliance with us before hand. So long ago I can't remember. Either way, they got it for me which relieved a lot of stress.

My record is we got all three items in about 45 mins including travel time.
Went to CN, just was about to pull a exoray when 2 people i know were skilling up and they got drop, they allianced and gave to guy we were fighting. We tele to vazhel, run to necro, get camp, pull lich, first drop.
Warp back to jeuno go to cn and kill bomb for last piece.

I just.. got my friend one on 3 minutes <.< zoned in.. went in killed 2 lich and it dropped >.>

Searching info about Papirus, i´ve readed two or three posts that also point Glacier one having better drops, so there must be some truth to it.

I think I got a KS recently so you can count that one as yours [hmmm they are not Ex right?]
I have quite a busy week, so I probably wont be able to try it this week and I should get some things ready as getting Vhalz GC, so whenever I have things ready and some time I will try to contact you.

The entrance via the glacier is more relaxed also (besides that seems to drop more often) since you don't have to run but can camp on the stairs next to the exit.
Get a Smn or Bst for pulling (pet attacks while player stays sneaked) if you don't have a member that doesn't get aggro there.

The seals are rare/ex. I'm not too worried about them, but the bcnm runs are a major source of income for me and hq staves are quite expensive.
I'm suppose to be going out of town this weekend so I probably won't be on after Friday until Sunday evening. I have a dynamis run when I get home from work, but I don't think I have anything going on after that as long as I don't delevel. If you are on tonight, hit me up so we can set up a time.
