DRK/THF - Preffered
(In appropriate level range of course.)
Post here if interested- This set will do many things together- Promyvion, ZM, etc. (Promyvion with different jobs of course).
Appropriate equips would be highly appreciated- Those with better equips will be given preference. (Haubergeon, Snipers, Erase, etc.)
Either post here- or send me (Lovelovecat), Tsurukiri, or Ridill a /tell in game.

no im not in any set right now, but i have a THF 40 and a SAM im lvling right now too, so thats good for times we cant meet =)
lots of people who want to set are like "lets set EVERYNIGHT, EVERYDAY, ALL THE TIME"
and, well i have a life outside FFXI as i would hope most people do, so i like to tell people i wont be upset if we dont set everyday all day :P

Well- As far as I know- This set PT plans for PT for 3-4ish hours every other day or so- More solid plans as we get members- we also wouldn't start for a week or two until Tsuru gets out of school- So that would give you time to get NIN to 37 etc- Whatever you need to do to be ready for 75~ ^-^ Thanks for replying- A RNG would be most appreciated- I'm looking into possible skillchains- Any advice would be appreciated, as a WAR, I'm max skilled in: Axe, Sword, Gsword, GAxe, and Polearm- So any skillchains that you are aware of (that are effective anyways) between those weapons and your bow- would come as much welcome advice.

hello, im a 61sam/war, i would like to join the set, if you need me. ingame name is torture.
OK well the best times for me are mon/wed/fri in the evening, as i have classes (im in university) tues/thurs nights and i usually visit my wife on the weekends, or she visits me, so every other weekend will probably work
I usually play a Bow RNG, but sometimes i do bolt if no THF or WAR with acid bolts, and depends what were fighting, onions and stuff with low def holy bolts usually tear apart, so i have maxxed both marksmanship and archery.
I uaually play /NIN for obvious reasons, but i can lvl my WAR sub and my /SAM sub should be 30+ very soon as well, for a different way to play.

Sadly- We don't really have room for a SAM- We might have to take on a DRK of THF in addition so we can have a viable skillchain, and such. Any skillchain possibilities are welcome- I'm ingame right now- so either reply here or give me a /tell.

SAM is only job gonna get TP as fast as I will, so its not a bad idea, specially if he has /THF or /RNG

Just thought I'd mention as a bard: it happens to be a real pain for brds to be the only refresher for a PLD party. BRDs in general have a tendency to hate these kinds of parties.
Expect a lot of trouble lining up for the songs, etc. You'd need a /great/ brd and a /great/ crew to have a chance of pulling it off... and even then melee will still get hit with ballad sometimes.
I'd recommend getting an RDM first. Speaking from personal experience from leveling both RDM and BRD to 75. ^^ Since you have a BLM I'd personally recommend the traditional RDM, BLM, WHM backline. Just my advice.

ok =) thanks for the input, i just find that with a RNG in PT, RDM is no good to me, whereas BRD has prelude, and many other benefits.

also, a SMN might not be a bad idea, they are very handy if we cant find a BRD...not quite the same, but man who doesnt love Hastega and blinkga and stonega =) wait nobody likes stonega, they like stoneskinga .. right, always get those confused LOL
Hello! i saw this post and got interested. Im a fresh into 63DRK/31WAR with the ability to sub THF also (45THF) i would interested in joining a set pt with you, i work well with rngs on skill chains and have l337 gear for my lvl...
Weapon - Vassago's Scythe
Head - AF Helm
Body - Haubergeon
Hands - Royal Knights
Legs - Royal Knights
Feet - Leaping Boots/AF Boots
Rings - Sniper Ring and either +3STR or +3DEX ring

O.O i havent pted or lvled for a while..lets see since Friday or Saturday:P thats at least 2 days with out lvling!! Just doing random stuff with GF Casafrass ^_^ love that girl.. and i havent touched my THF almost a month ..xD if i want i could probably get THF To 75 in 1 month but why :)... theres other things to do.. and i just want hangout with gf:)
Hehe my Thf is retired until a certain Dragoon comes back. Also my drk is ever getting so close to 75. Hehe Seems all I do now is Farm, Chicken Dig (level 3 now), NM hunt, and level...hehe also look for deals on relic currency. Also picked up gardensing for a little side thing on two of my mules...First two harvests yeilded me round 750k. Not to bad. Nice little side income.

heh.. why dony you sponser dynamis? you get more currency that way:) .. for 1 mil gil i usually get like 100~105 currencys:)...and to some people thats like 2mil if you buy it, and damn , next time bring me as your whm when you lvl THF since im 56 too:P...

Actually I have sponsered Three runs, two with my current dynamis LS.
1st run, 253
2nd run, 317
3rd run, 205
So all and All its pretty good but I am trying to get there really fast now. I still have normal people that will sell me some for 10k..but we have way to many greedy ******** on this server that want 20k per piece...hehe I have passed up at least 200-300 pieces this way.

It's with great regret that I have to respond to this thread in such a manner, but the status of the set is in the air. Lovelovecat was unable to reactivate Soniti. I myself really have no interest in pursuing a set then without Soniti, however, it appears that there has been a very large interest for a set among everyone posting. Perhaps you guys could organize a new set amongst yourselves. I'm fairly certain that Tsurukiri would still be interested in joining a set. Best of luck to everyone and good luck once again, Soniti/Lovelovecat.
