I've been camping this thing for a week and a half now. 0/5. Claimed 8 times, deleveled to 65 seen 3 groups just watch me die waiting to claim. Whatever, all's fair in love and Obow.
For those who don't know, Othinus' Bow is the best crossbow in the game, and arguably the best ranged weapon in the game for XP parties. It drops off Wyvernpoacher Drachlox, a goblin notorious monster in gustav tunnel, where 55-60 parties XP often. It's level 70-75, and uses eagle eye shot.
Im looking for people to help camp it with me. Im at the point where Im willing to pay 200k or 300k (or more) for a Obow. It's a lottery pop, so you would have to camp it with me (Oh nos! Not fish!). I've had friends come down a couple times, but I feel really guilty to keep asking them to come down and stare at goblins for 2-3hours.
Send me a /tell ingame (Fishstickz) if you would like to come camp it with me (And if you have a price, tell me), and Ill be glad to have you.
Im not leaving gustav tunnel til I get this crossbow.

Helpful tip
A NIN can hold wyvernpoacher almost indefinitely without taking any damage. Just pull him into the tunnel area and keep at range and just keep up shadows. Then just ask you're LS to come then ask some THFs or anyone to come that you need.
I did this for Edgecrusher when he got his Obow after camping for ages, just help wyvernpoacher for 15 mins keeping up shadows, then when THF arrived drop lots of damage on him fast so that eagle gets blinked and then its goodgame.
The point of the post was basically hold him till a THF can come for TH2 or so that you can hold him and not need 5 other people camping with you.

I can duo it with a good THF or NIN, thats not the problem. It's just finding people to come down with me.

If it makes you feel any better, a NM Goblin is ******** me over as well. Although it sounds like Wyvernpoacher is a little more difficult to get than Mysticmaker, but still. If I was at any kind of level that I could help you, I would. You seem nice, so in my opinion, you deserve the crossbow. I'm hoping someone high level comes to this thread, sees you're in need, and aids you for no fee. That's what happened with my thread. You'll see, there are a ton of awesome people on this server who would help you without any question (as long as they have time).

EDIT: Oh, and from what I understand, Experience Points parties are scared of Wyvernpoacher. Yesterday when we were down there, three people in the group stated that they hoped some campers would come along soon, as they didn't want to die at the hands of Wyvernpoacher. So at least that cuts down some competition.
