hi. ok so i am a lv48 rdm in ragnarok and i am tryin to get mission 5-1 finished. for more than 2weeks now i am tryin to finish it but everyone i ask says: no thank you i got much better things to do . the high rank players wnt help cause the couldnt belive the got out of that mission. and the low lv or ppl who wanna do it are afraid to go there alone. i wanna finish it please knights of ragnarok plz come and help me. send me a message if i am not on ill look u up.

If I remember correctly 5.1 has a 50 cap or 55 cap. That's why higher level players can't do it as most don't have the equipment for it...Now 5.2 is a different story.

It's a 50 cap. That's why I don't go on these runs. I'd show up half naked. It's a fun fight and people shouldn't be afraid of it, cause it wasn't all that hard. It's just level cap things are a pain. And I don't feel like investing in equipment that I'm only going to use for one fight.
It really isn't too hard, especially if you have a Monk or two in your group. The hardest part is getting to the arena. The best advice I can give you is do the Optistry quests in Windurst for the Northlands map. (I think that's where you get it from)
A good Paladin tank (with Circle Blade) is a big help too.

Just a side note that happened to me..I died while in the room but we still cleared it..YOu will get the mission complete if you die.

this mission is not hard with a mnk or 2... I did it with 3 Mnks.. and PLD.. with 3 MNK 2hr and Ragin Fist, and PLD invincible to hold the hate;) we beat it just barely over 1mins xD.... but without it, its pain!!!!!!!!
just a note, Cyclone.. from a thf.. with daggers.. yes daggers.. one at just 100 tp will usually whipe out more then half the minor enemy skeles there.

mnks arent afraid of this mission. this mission is cake. Heres what you get, you (rdm) whm, pld and as many mnks you want. the mnk will do all the work with : focus> berserk> hundred fists
get 2 mnks if you want to be easy. Get 3 mnks if you want to set the record lol.
Mnks really will be the tanks in this mission, they will be doing so much damage that the tank pld nin or whatever will not be able to hold the hate...the only role that the tank has is to run in first voke the lich get all his posse on him so they are not on the mnks.
whm job keep mnks alive, not the pld or tank. rdm job refresh whm, keep pld or tank alive...very simple,
i have done this with 4 people before and didnt even worry about it. Just ask around for some mnks, look for 50 mnks they will be better cause they already have the appropriate armor and such. Like i said this is by far the easiest mission where you fight things, and because the boss is a skeleton, naturally mnks and whms and plds will own it. This mission is not the mission people are afraid of, i was afraid of the Shadow Lord, not his ArchBitch lich

Map of Fei'Yin is from A Smudge on One's Record, in Windurst.
Map of Ranguemont Pass, which you may need if you don't yet have the Vahzl Gate Crystal, is obtained from The Rescue in Selbina.

When I did this mission, I took care of the underlings as a RDM. Aquaveil, Stoneskin, Phalanx, Blaze Spikes. Spam Diaga to get their attention (you'll easily hold hate, since nobody else will be attacking them). Blaze Spikes alone is enough to kill them. Add on a sword, dagger, or club with a suitable Enspell and the occasional AOE spell (if you have the MP to spare), and you can take them all down very, very easily. Just reapply Stoneskin whenever it wears off, and keep yourself cured, and you'll be fine.
Of course, if you are going to have your RDM take care of them (which is very fun for the RDM, I might add), your party will need another healer, as the RDM will not be able to keep the tanks alive and deal with all the links at the same time.

I still have alot of pre 50ish gear on my monk so if your in need of another monk send Onyxia a /tell in game and if im on Ill help ya out with this fight. Always fun from a monks perspective :D
