Hm.. I'm 55, and was looking to get one of these as well. The other day (a week maybe), I went to the AH to pick one up. Only one was listed for sale. I checked the bid history, and it was going for 120-130k. So, I bid between there and up to 130k with no luck. Ended up going to -160k-, and still no luck, so I said ***** it. Came back few days later, and suddenly this is going for 170k constantly. What's up with the sudden jump in price?
Honestly it's people not Gil sellers that are jacking prices up...It's greedy people that know that it is the only one that is up for sale and if they can jack up the price 10-20-30 even 100k and know people will pay for it.

I know... same with the Assult Earing. Like 3 weeks ago it was about 100-150k, and now it up to 300k!! I've been asking people (other DRGs) how much they got theirs for, and they are telling me they got theirs for like 80k. But then again that was like 5 months ago. Also this very gernerous DRG sold me a Merman's Gorget and a Darksteel Lance for 210k! So now all i need is a GKL and an Assult Earing and im good to go. BTW i got my Dratchen armor tonight. I was so happy and i did it by myself^^

I was looking on the AH this weekend and have noticed the same thing has happened to the Scorpion Harness and the Haubys. Scorpion has gone up to 6mil and the Hauby is now 2mil, all in the space of about 3 days. :(

the hauby price increase sucks because its been a constant 1.6~1.8 million for well over a year. people are just getting greedy. thank god I bought my hauby at 1.8 a few days ago.

Yea i just looked at Merman's Gorget today and it went fro 165k-250k (as of today) in 2 days!!!

Yeah, Merman's Gorget is up to 300k now because Selala / Dolala (same person) is the only one crafting these and can get away with charging that much. Honestly if someone could step up to the task, you could undercut by about 150k and still make a huge profit if your Bonecraft is 90+
