Is there a decent guide out there to skilling up your weapon or the logistics of it? I'm working on it and I can't seem to find any consistancy or reason why I would get skill ups sometimes, and not others on some mobs, and not others. I know that it has to do with the skill level in comparison to a monster, but when fight monsters that are easy prey at level 63 with a weapon skill 135 I get very few skill ups. This seems counter to what is logical.

Um, I'm not sure if there is a proper link out there,but from personal experience here is what I do to lvl a weapon skill.
0-10 noob yard such as west ronf etc (obviously)
10-25 canyon, plains, highlands
25-50 vulk dunes / bur pen.
50-100 I do qufim cause now you can actually hit sh*t lol
100-120 gobs in yuntunga (first jungle can't spell for the life of me)
120-160 crawlers nest, start with workers, soldiers, beetles, exorays, then rumblers
160-200 I found that crabs and lizards in Kuftal tunnel worked best for this, also crabs in first part of boyada tree
200-? steelshells also in boyada tree
hope this remotely helps, I've personally done h2h, marksmanship, throwing, some archery, and sword with this process as thf. very fast and very easily:)

Yeah, definitely. I've gotten my H2H up to 125 for some raging fists goodness, now that I'm 63+ I can get True Strike with club, so I want it. If I can cap my marksmenship then that would be great too.
I usually only go to about 80-75 in Qufim they slow way down after that. You can also head to SSG and go to 105ish and Ghasts and the crabs there near norg.
I've been doing 100-120 in CN, sword at 120 now and staff is at 116.
I'm at 145 with club. 30 to go!
