Not to be confused with the "Friends lost but not forgotten" thread... This one hits me close to home..

Everyone who advances in levels has made friends.. I made friends.. [Surprising, I know..]... But what happens when you outlevel them? You stop talking.. Lose contact..

Or the people who helped you when you were a noob.. They're still around.. What if you outleveled them too? You tend to forget these things..

Who have you left behind but still remember? I've been left behind and forgotten.. I've helped people and then they outleveled me, and forgot I existed, but I still remember them, as I remember the people I've passed by..

People like Endymion.. He showed me the way to windurst when I was a level 14 war with no Subjob... He was a lvl 25 Paladin at the time... Somehow somewhere along the road I outleveled him, but he's still my friend, he's still a great person..

Melphina.. Still my good friend.. We had some fun times together in Crawler's nest.. Hey, he's almost caught up to me, lvl 72 now! But I never forgot.. Ever.

Atlan/Hershey.. My IRL friend.. But still.. One of the best people I ever knew.. Was lvl 20 when I first joined the server.. I thought she was so high level... Lingering in the lower 50's right now..

But who have you FORGOTTEN? Who haas helped you, but somewhere along the way you passed them, or just forgot them in general? They're still around, but you don't talk.. You may have forgotten that they ever helped you.. you see them and think you know them maybe? But you don't remember from where..

People like NFX, who helped me with my AF1 quest...

Dirty, who, although I don't agree with him a lot, I wouldn't have my AF3 without him.

Who have YOU forgotten?

Well there are three people imparticular that I would like to thank. These people helped me out a ton.

Bulletknight- Hes an awesome Sam and he helped me when i was like lvl 10. He gave me a pearl to his higher lvl linkshell and helped me out. He also gave me my first armor, a pair of leather highboots, WHICH I STILL carry around with me. To him this may have been clearing his Mog House, but to me it kept me interested in the game.

Spirits- She taught me to fight in East Sarutaburata. I remeber her exact words. "Check the monster and try to fight decent challange, if it says tough stay away" ;_;

Demonica- High lvl elvaan thf. I remember when I was level 4 or so she taught me to fish. I still see her around sometimes and wave, she waves back probably asking herself, who is this noob?

Thanks to anyone who helped me along the way of my FFXI journey.

i try not to forget those who helped me ever. i respect those people who helped me when they didnt have too or who help others when they dont have too. i know sometimes i act like a ****** and make excuses not to help people with things when im tired or just dont feel like it. but i do help who i can when i can and i get people waving to me alot who i dont even remember. len's post makes me think, a long time from now will these people remember me? will these seemingly small things ive done for them now be something they never forget? and how will they feel if i dont remember them? does any of it matter?

im not looking for anything by helping people, (and am by no way bragging) it's just something that makes you really think.

I will always remember those who have helped me in the past and will always show them the respect they should. (sucks i have a terible memory with some names)

Hmm, let's see. Sarq and Idealodin for accepting a rank 1 war, no sub, when I first started and teaching me to not let the mages get hit... ever.

Sarq again, for beating the hell out of the DRG wyvern for me, and allowing me to meet Duke, my bestest friend in the whole wide world ^^

You, Lenwei, for being my source of inspiration and a well of info, or someone to chat with when I'm bored.

Neogohan, for being on my tail at all times to make sure I found ways to afford the equip I need. (no, I don't have snipers yet, bug off, you evil, evil mnk)

All of Axiom, for being there on good and bad days both to chat with. Iv'e had some of the neatest experiences with them. (SMN AF2, a fun fight, my goodness)

I do not get to talk to them much, mainly because I am so busy with my set or with LS events, but I do miss talking to some of the ppl in my old LS.

Boma- this guy has a strange since of humor that many dont get, and he can get on some nerves, but he is always helpful and can bring a smile to your face when needed. He is a great player, and hopefully one day I can lvl with him =)

Enkil- also was in my old LS, this guy will do anything he can to help ppl out if he can. A very nice, and helpful guy that I will never forget.

Others on the old HK LS- Cjcheshire, Darknova, Zarquon, Seraphx, and the rest of the HK crew.

I know that we are all in different LSs now, and that it might seem that I am too busy to talk to everyone now, but please understand that even though I am busy now, I have not forgotten any of you, and I do miss you guys ; ;
