Piggy #2 The Gil BuyersFollow

#1 Jan 04 2005 at 12:04 AM Rating: Default
certain things caught my attention while xping. certain people with gear i know they never farmed for. then claiming to have got the hardest and most rare drop in the game for gear. which happens to be a blm for the hnm shell ithica. i checked jeuno log for sales and found none sold by this person. also why is it most blms buy gil the most? certain taru blms with dual snow rings, demons cloak, etc. do these people think they are fooling anyone when we know that their mains arent in a reputable hnm <for those under 65>, they never farm and level non stop, make false veiled attempts saying they kill nms for over 10 million in equipment <cough bul!sh*t> or claim that they were given all that gil. usually these people use a second character to buy the items to prevent suspesscion also.

Dude, shut the hell up. It's people like you that accuse me of gil buying even though I worked for all of my gear. You don't have any evidence you just go by AH histories, which don't reflect things like personal trades, too. I just sold my Balmung for 2.9 mil but you won't see that on the history.

Like what Majestic said, shut the hell up...

1.The HNM LS that this person has shouldnt be mentioned..

2.because you cant farm these things doesnt mean thety buy gil

3.Shut the hell up..now every1 is like "omg you buy gil!!111!"

Go ***** at SE because they didnt kick the gil sellers out...not at the gil buyers..well not the ones that buy a small amout of gil..(i dont buy gil, and jaffla is gay)

Not to mention someone else could have picked it up for them. When I got my Austere Robe, I wasn't the one to purchase it from an AH, a friend did and brought it out to me.

Some linkshells will help a person get the equipment they need and these linkshells will often have a treasurer type person who will sell high priced drops and then buy what the others need and send it to them.

I have quite a bit of expensive equipment myself. A few friends quit the game for WoW and hooked me up on the way out. Most bought the items for me with the gil and sent the item to me. So are you going to say I purchased gil if you saw my set up?

Seriously, without proof, accusing someone of buying or even selling gil just seems wrong.

Of course gil-buying is wrong, but this would be a particularly hard period of time to separate "gil buyers" from "players who 'inherited' tons of gil/items from LS mates & friends who have quit for WoW, etc.," because WoW really sucked away a lot of FF players lately. I myself got a small "inheritance" (100k gil and a Combat Casters Cloak) from a departing LS mate. I wisely invested most of it, but yeah I splurged on some "bling" (Mage Sandals instead of Cotton).
