Need veiwer help! PLEASE!Follow

OK.

I hit POL veiwer icon(FFXI icon), and the SE logo comes up(the blue screen) and the music comes on. Then the veiwer does nothing. The window flashes up but then it goes back to my home screen with the POL bar at the bottom and the music still playing!

Anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?
