I've been reading up on MBPs. I would like to give it a try. I have never been in one. Is anyone out there intrested? Has one and can use another Blm if they have one?
Make up should be at least (from what I have read so far):
2 Blms needed (2 Blms filled)
1 Brd
1 Rdm (position filled)
Exp is supposedly 4-8k an hour
I'm Looking for this Sunday, 11-21-04, 8pm (PST), and lvl 60ish.

I was just wondering why you are planning on doing this with a gimped WHM and 1 AF done. You are lvl 60 so you should have all your AF completed.
Just an experiment, not a long term thing (unless I really like it).
I just dinged to 60 Monday. I'm lvling sub now, I hate it, so I have till Sunday to get my 1.5k.
As for AF, note the phrase still trying to get help, for some odd reason no one wants to go to Castle Z, I can't imagine why...I personally like it better than Castle O. I figued ah hell I'll just solo it eventually.
Since I never really lvl straight and never had a set party. I have been farming, hunting NMs, and cooking. AF hasn't been a big priority for me, party invites come when i'm not looking I tell them what I have and they say they don't care. Thus lvl 60. You wanna come kill demons in castel Z?
I will do it eventually when I can yank teeth form the LS to go or catch a shout in Jueno.

Um.... you do not invite a tank to a manaburn party. only rdm, brd, and at least 4 blm.
Well that cool I was just wondering. Everyone has their own choice on how they play the game. I was also saying maybe more people will be willing to this if they knew you played your job to the fullest because some people look at it like you have to have your AF done as soon as you ding the next lvl.. and so on. That was just my thoughts. In my point of view as long as you are good at what you do who cares about you armor but i do believe in keeping your subs up to date.

np...sub is one thing I strive to keep up... I missed the part that where you said you would like to come to Castle Z. ~_0

Inviting a tank to an MBP is pointless, the idea is to have random hate going everywhere, on the upside having crazy damage. With all of that damage going like wacko, a tank couldn't keep hate more than an 8-year old with a few "yo mamma" jokes.

I'm up for this. I'm a 58 blm and should by 60 by early next week.
As for me, I think a 5 BLM / 1 BRD combo would easily work in a MBP.

Great I have closed some spots...

I'll be doing coffer/AF runs this most of the weekend...LS finally scheduled the event. But will stiil do the MBP on sunday for a few hours at least.

Hmm. Where to start on this. As far as the sub goes. It was only a one lvl difference which is something I would not consider highly gimped. I have seen plenty of people at 64 with a lvl 30 subjob.
Next subject. As far as Artifact Armor goes that is quested which means not fully required to level. And yes while some may want to have the next piece available to them as they level to wear, others dont. I know plenty of black mages that dont even use most of their af gear. Just like the coat which is easily replaced with the Justaucorps/Justaucorps+1 for the +Int boost or the Shaman's Cloak.
In no means trying to completely insult you on your personal choices as to what you feel a blm should use for equipment, it is also completely up to Omegaman as to IF he wants to use AF or replace it with other better gear.
Also once my blm hits around 60+ (got about 9 lvls to go) I would be most interested in joining a manaburn party to try it out. Or when my rdm hits 75 I would like to try that also possibly for merit points.

died; was a one shot deal.. 2Blms and Rdm confirmed only.

As for set, I saw a post by a RDM for a set MBP in this fourm. I would like to join a set eventually (I think I can kidnap a PLD and SAM) but I wanna make sure I am up to par 1st gear wise. I have been putting off some stuff.
(spells I am current on needed spells.)
In the mean time, 50k till my next staff. Currently 3/8

The static will probably start in a couple weeks or less, and will start in the mid 60's.
Right now we are 61-63 but may wait till about 65 to officially start.
Members interested so far: Me, Bitzah(blm), Ceryx(blm) and Zerta(brd). Still needing 2 more blms to complete the set.
Playing times will be weekdays approx. 7-11pm Central (8-12 eastern, 6-10 pacific).
Send tell to me or Zerta if interested, or post here if you like.

Dang evil.. I knew you were planning on going MBP at 65ish.. didn't know you were taking zerta from our set too until last night.. kinda hurts.
Our set was agreed on ahead of time on our LS forums that it was only going to 65, if I remember correctly.
