I was in a skill up/coffer key in Beadeaux PT with:

Raistlen (leader)
Supergirl
Dynn
Shady
Eulogy
Ajuka

Everybody in this PT needed key except for Shady and Supergirl who are there to help and skill up. A coffer key drop in Beadeaux and those that needed it lot on it. Raistlen who was leader and needed the coffer key decided to quartermaster and get the key himself. He ended up getting the key of course.

For those of you who do not know what quartermaster is, it is something that leader can do. Leaders can set the option to either let people lot on the loot or ALL loots go to leader. This is what Raistlen did in the coffer key hunt. He quartermaster the key to go to him.

I find this very disappointing to see that somebody on this server would do that. If you read this then keep in mind that these things can be done and that Raistlen can not be trusted.

I hope you all think twice before helping his person because he display poor moral in the game.

Did this person stay until more people got their keys? Or did he just disband and take off?

If he actually stayed for the others to get their key also then I see no problem with it. Maybe the guy was in 10-20 coffer key parties and had never won the lot for the key, while others that didnt even need the key won it (Which happens a lot in the Castle Oz key hunt parties I might add.) Or maybe he got tired of people getting the key running off and having to start a whole new coffer party.

If he grabbed the key and took off... then that is a problem.

Yeah someone did this to one of my ls mates during garrison this weekend. He shouted for all the members for garrison, got a full alliance of 18, then right when it ended, changed to quartermaster, grabbed the loot, and took off. Let this be a lesson to everyone. If you don't know the alliance leader in real life, there is no guarantee you are getting out of there with anything. Sad, but theft is way too common nowadays and now nobody has any reason to trust the next guy, even if he is a long time friend in-game. Sorry about the key incident. I hope your friends get their keys.

I think it would be perfectly fine if he QM'ed himself the first key. IF he stayed for the others. He organized it and put in that little bit of extra effort to make it happen.

If he ran off after he got his key (and is a whm), then I hope he forgot to activate the "Healing Hands" quest. Then all he'll find in the coffer is a scroll of Burst :)

I was in this PT when this happened (Eulogy), well first of all he didn't entirely create the pt, i was the first to bring it up to him, and then we together formed this pt. I was under the impression that we would all lot for it, and well.. you know the story. This is the first time i have seen this happen in any coffer key hunt pt that i have been in, and it was pretty dissapointing. The drop rate wasn't good that night to start off with, and when this happened it was like putting dog **** icing on a cake. Well anyhow this guy is in the LS demonslayers (an LS i used to be in but left cause there were way too many members, just a noisy chat room i didn't need). If you are in this LS, and give a crap i suggest you try to get him kicked cause he is dishonest, not to mention gives your LS a bad name (if you give two ***** about that sort of thing...). Personally i won't trust anyone in that LS, i'm taking his actions reflect the sort of people that stay in that LS. I play this game because i have been a fan of the FF series since its debut, i love the music, story and the art. It is truly a game like none other, it's unfortunate that there are people like Raistlen who play it only to take advantage of people and their trust.

so... did this guy stay with the party or not? Or did one of you mention that you were leaving once you got a key? heh, thats motive enough.

I think its pretty sad that you would hate an entire group of people because one person quartermastered a key.

I am pretty sure there is more to this story then what you guys are saying... which is just "he qm'ed a key." I don't even know this guy and I already got his back.

I think blaming others for someone else's fault is pretty crappy. But I think that the point about him leaving or staying after for more keys will make him guilty or innocent, respectively.

Honestly I don't see how even if he stayed and helped how that would make it right. Everyone in the group should have an equal chance to get it unless some other way was previously agreed upon. So even if he did stay, that still gives him no right to do that.

Just my 2 cents...

After thinking about WanderingBard's post, I think that his point is right. Every person should get equal lots on the keys.

Well it's behind us now :) Time to get out there and get your own keys with people you know you can trust! ;)

Good luck on all of you getting your keys, once you do the Coffer there is SOOOO easy.
