I did like this part of one of the articles

But, Paramount has also maybe been a little stingy with their numbers. According to THR, both Chris Pine and Chris Hemsworth have walked away from negotiations due to a lack of sufficient cheddar. Paramount is like “hey these movies don’t make as much as you think†and they’re like “we’re both named Chris†and the two opposing viewpoints were not able to meet in the middle.
Nothing all that interesting for movies recently. I thought about trying to see Incredibles 2 last weekend since i'm stuck in a hotel again. But turns out it is no longer showing in the local theaters. A bit disappointed. Eight weeks I guess was pushing it. But estimated BluRay release dates aren't until October.
I saw Bad Samaritan on the new release rack today. But it was not a combo back. No digital copy included. So I passed. Always disappointed with distributors don't make digital bundles. Odd that I won't just buy digital copies on Vudu or anything though.
The lull in movie releases seems to lead to movies like "Meg" shining on the box office. Even though the trailers make it feel like little more than your usual Sci-Fi TV movie.
