I'm curious to see if they'll end up mixing the storylines from Feast and Dance or keep them separate like the books.

I'd be very surprised if they didn't just show the books concurrently. There's too much stuff to ignore for too long if they didn't, and things would be pretty confusing if they decided to suddenly jump back chronologically with season 6 (or 7 or 8 or whatever it is by then).

Definitely, they will certainly mix Feast and Dance in the TV show, it would make zero sense to do otherwise. And it's not like much happens in those two books either, really. A bit in KL with Cersei and Marg, a bit in Dorne and the Iron Island, and then Dany getting ready for a battle. Unless it turns into a travelocumentary with Brienne detailing the flora and fauna of Westeros, David Attenborough style. Those two books have 1 season's worth of TV material, at best.

Also, since we're on the topic of gingers...

Ya, but with the stuff they're adding and expanding upon they pretty much HAVE to make it last two seasons and the Martin gets done with the next book. It takes em' a year to even develop a season, so hopefully they get a rough draft by the end of the next season or who knows wtf will happen with the plot.

GoT filler could be 3 seasons away, lol.

I don't think Winds of Winter will really have an issue getting out before the show catches up. It'll probably be out end of 2015, at the latest. A Dream of Spring, on the other hand... We might be looking at some filler plots for the show.

Since nothing else is happening in the GoT world at the moment, I give you a real Queen not wanting to sit on the throne.

If our old king was still alive, he would have sat on it and said "Winter is coming." He was pretty much a badass.

HBO has a GoT display set up at the PNE here in Vancouver, complete with some virtual reality gizmo where you go up "the Wall". Hoping to get there and check it out this weekend.

I have no other words to describe the Oculus Rift experience of ascending the wall other than "intense". If you get a chance, you really really need to check that technology out.

.....and the GoT exhibition was pretty cool too.
