Naruto: Naruto sure is acting like a respectable Hokage.
One Piece: Luffy sure didn't learn MP conservation when he was training.
Secret War: GingThor sure got himself killed spectacularly.
Thor: That sure was worthless. They could have literally, literally, plugged in any character and it would have been the same. Apparently cancer makes you worthy of Mjolnir.
Uncanny Avengers: That sure is an epic retcon. High Evolutionary disguised Wanda and Pietro as common mutants so well that Speedy lost his GoFast powers after M Day.

I got to "He's not heavy, he's my brother" and then Mangapanda went down.
Edit: Actually forgot to finish. Human Evil Dragon Dudeâ„¢ was kind of neat. Guess should have expected it, considering Wind Dragon Lady did it very many chapters ago.

Just bribe her with Strawberry Shortcake and you can get away with anything.
"We'd like to pay you with money, but have this slice of cheesecake instead."
Bleach - Oh Kenpachi you loveable scamp. You truly are the silver lining. One Piece - That last punch should be coming any week now.
Just the Secret Wars books that come to immediate mind.
Renew Your Vows - Or How Slott confused Mac Gargan for Eddie Brock. Master of Kung Fu - Drunk Fist Shang Chi is pretty neat. Probably favorite book so far. MODOK Assassin - I couldn't help but enjoy the little big headed sociopath. Planet Hulk - Steven Rogers as a gladiator riding Devil Dinosaur. What's not to love?

Bleach: Kenpachi made an appearance, so not a total loss. Fairy Tale: Erza as new guild leader does not surprise me. Natsu would be terrible at it.
Marvel: Renew Your Vows: Best spidey story in awhile! All New X-Men: Almost the end, but to be continued in Uncanny X-Men #600. Considering I don't read Uncanny that kind of stinks. Looks like Cyclops will become the phoenix (again) though based upon Secret Wars #3 Secret Wars #3: Finally, some explanations! Really, really looking forward to 616 Reed vs Ultimate Reed. Groot - Worth it for the krypton gag alone. Guardians Team Up: Skip it. I'm dropping this book, too inconsistent. Star Wars: Han's wife shows up! This is in cannon, so a pretty big deal.
And still waiting for Hawkeye #22...

Fairy Tail - The why Arbaless invaded 10 years ago was to obtain the Loli-in-a-crystal for themselves.

My favorite era was during JMS when Peter was a teacher at his old high school, and he was balancing that with being married and Spider-Man. The totem stuff was pretty neat, too. Allegedly some of the RYV story is going to shift into the regular continuity once Secret Wars is over, so I hope it's his daughter and him being an adult and not just Slott's weird "immature manchild who can only suffer" characterization.

Bleach: I actually chuckled a little at the Grimjow part this week. Naruto: The obvious has been stated, and Sakura has dropped below Orihime in the "Heroine Doormat" category. One Piece: Made you look!

Fairy Tail: I hope Laxus shows up soon. Kind of surprising he's not on the council, considering how he rekt Jura. Nanatsu no Taizai: Hawk Mama to the rescue! Magi: No, really, this is some unexpectedly gory ****. Though I like the Sinbad spinoff a little more.

Naruto - The only thing worse than a clipshow episode is a clipshow chapter. Bleach - Or constant flashbacks, maybe. One Piece -

Heh, that's about right. Sub Orbital Death Ray. Hajime no Ippo - Holy crap it's still going. Sendo and Mashiba are still the best.
Thors - Cops, in Battleworld. BAD THORS, BAD THORS, WHAT SHALL THEE DO, WHAT SHALL THEE DO WHEN WE COMETH FOR YOU.
Poor Sarah Jessica Parker. I just hope they don't circlejerk JaneThor. Bad enough she's automagically the bestest best Thor in 616, having her the bestest best Thor for no reason in all the multiverse would be even more stupid. Runaways - No children of super villains. No running away. Only one original Runaway. More Breakfast Club than Runaways, if Breakfast Club was written by a preteen fanfiction writer.
Fairy Tail - It doesn't count as shipping if it's painfully obvious. Gajeel x Levy 4lyf. Zera - Even though it was figured out pretty quickly, still a sad revelation.

One Piece - "Thank you readers, for supporting us all these years! Please look forward to Oda-Sensei's next work!" Bleach - Damn you backstory, just let the series die already. Naruto - Sharingan + Super Strength = Homing Death Punches

One Piece - "Thank you readers, for supporting us all these years! Please look forward to Oda-Sensei's next work!"
The Misadventures of Captain Five Star God Usopp!Don is back on his feet next chapter, isn't he? Meanwhile on Namek ... Naruto - Hey, remember when having Sharingan meant you could copy any technique by just viewing it and not pulling magic powers out of your chakra holes? About time they brought that back. Bleach - Nothing's happening ... nothing's happening, nothing's happening, something about a map, nothing's happening, it's over, a lot of people in the audience look pissed.
Infinity Gauntlet - 2 - Nova dog!
Book I'm looking forward to after Secret War: "All New All Different Hulk" by Greg Pak & Frank Cho. They say it's going to be a funny book. A mystery Hulk that's not Bruce Banner and written by Pak. It's totally Amadeus Cho. Maybe Rick Jones, since he did recently unbecome A-Bomb, and he's always being abused by writers.

Infinity Gauntlet might be my favorite Secret Wars tie-in at the moment.
The Walking Dead upped the stakes again. The whisperers aren't ******* around with empty threats and Carl, of course, still refuses to listen.
Planet Hulk started off well, 2nd issues not so good though.
I want to like Secret Wars' Captain Marvel, but much like the latter half of her series I'm just...not.
Still waiting for Hawkeye #22 (they're now saying 7/15)...
Bleach: a continuation of the previous week's flashbacks involving new characters no one gives a **** about...sigh

Why? SDS is probably the most generic manga I find myself reading and they've got a spinoff with more generic cliches?
Naruto - Wait, when did Kabuto get out of Infinite Loop Error no Jutsu? Also putting him in charge of orphans sounds like a monumental error in judgement. Anyway, please be over please be over please be over ... Bleach - Didn't read. Assuming nothing to be missed. One Piece - Sabo kicked Jesus' ass. King Riku something something. Resolution. Probably a bounty increase in the next chapter or two. Really took the whole "Five Minutes in Namek" thing to the extreme.

It was only infinite if he refused to realize that he ****** up in his life choices; at least he didn't wind up like Diavolo. It looks like the orphanage he's running is the same one he was from in his backstory filler, and the guy next to him is his friend from back then. It was nice of them to immediately retcon the entire point of Sarada's emotional growth, guess they didn't need it anymore. I think there is supposed to be one more chapter, probably a "here's life in the village now" one-shot, then it's over.
