And in other news, asterisks Sankarea's ending. SpoilerPerfect setup for a downer ending, but nooooooooo, we have to have a happy ending. ***** that noise. Fairy Tail is pretty standard fight scene, not much to note. Mavis is still as adorable as ever in her book. Meliodas is using the Spirit Bomb.

Sankarea: SpoilerSad this series is over. Really enjoyed it, though the last arc slowed down tremendously. It would have been interesting if it had ended on the previous chapter, but this last chapter I didn't mind. We still didn't get the happy go lucky lovey dovey ending though, which is disappointing .

Naruto: Spoilerhow many times is he going to use that damn "Powerballs collide and create a big sphere" thing?

Woo hoo, it ended a few days early! SpoilerI didn't really expect the ending. Not that it's out of left field, mind, just that I'm not one to ever really expect the most obvious ending. I'd have given it a 40:60 odds. Meh, a disappointing ending to a disappointing series so I guess the odds should have been higher. The kids are cute. Who the hell let Rock Lee put his penis in them is my question now, and if they survived the experience. Too much? God I hope this doesn't spinoff into the Adventures of Babyruto.

I like the sniper in Bleach, even if he was cheesed back. I'm amused, if not thrilled about the backstory in One Piece. SpoilerLots of double crossing. SpoilerI think what irks me is that the only time they spend so much time on a character's story they have thus far become crew members. But they both have a Doctor, are pretty full up on OP offensive people, and Law has his own crew and such. I still want the barrier guy to be the next member, truth be told.

The apoplexy over in my NaruSaku forum right now is a sight to behold. 400+ pages of angst.

Aside from being on the losing team, so to speak, I'm actually really disappointed in the ending from a sheer storytelling stand point.It felt forced. It also felt really Japanese, which is probably why so many US fans are perplexed/bewildered/confused.

Haven't been this disappointed since the Hikaru no Go manga ended so abrubtly when Shounen Jump started getting death threats because Hikaru was going to beat the Korean guy. Or whatever ******** excuse they pulled.

I'm certainly not going to resume Bleach or One Piece at this point. The Jump editors will probably force those to end sooner than planned, too.

My final takeaway from this is to stick to shoujo. The authors are better at tying up loose ends.

Color pages are only used for special events in manga, they wouldn't waste a full color chapter for just a troll.

Read all the way through Gantz and HSDK, still not happy on how the series' ended. Also noticed One Piece shout outs in Gantz and Naruto, guess they were acknowledging the superior manga.

I don't know, I think everyone was pretty prepared for shockingly bad. I think the majority of the disappointment came from how safe an ending it was. It was almost Disney with it's "And everyone lived happily ever after" vibe.

I'm sure that would have been hilarious if we knew who the **** that is.

No, I got the fanfiction joke. However some people's fanfiction is way worse than others, and I thought this was an example of that.
