Forgotten Realms books.Follow

Oops, hit enter too soon.

I was just wondering, who else here enjoys most if not all the books for the Forgotten Realms d&d series?

I have most of them, enjoy most of them, but then again I am a long time D&D gm in a long time realms campaign.

Favorites are the Harpers series, and also the Cleric Quintent, a early R.A. Salvatore work.

try the Azure bonds set <the first two are pretty good> #

Horselords is a great book as is Darkwalker on Moonshae

I'm a fan of the Forgotten Realms novels - favorite authors are R.A. Salvatore, Elaine Cunningham and Ed Greenwood.

Haven't read any in a while - last book read was Salvatore's Lone Drow from his latest trilogy. I'm looking forward to the 3rd book in that series.

Anyhoo, I'm primarily fixated on Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett at the moment.

I like the new "Return of the Archmagi" series, dealing with the return of Shard and the "darkness" magic. Pretty neat stuff. Doesn't remind too much of the Realms I used to know, but it's some decent writings.

Favorites include the Salvatore stuff, Elaine Cunningham's material, the Avatar trilogy and Azure Bonds set. I believe those to be the core books in the Forgotten Realms novels.

I haven't picked up the Lone Drow books yet, been reading Warhammer 40k books (learning the history before I build my army) and re-reading the Dragonlance Chronicles books. Those are definately good reads.

Agreed on Salvatore. War of the Spider Queen is a fairly entertaining series, and twists abound!
