Everquest 1 Item Collector SupportFollow

I am running WinPcap 4.1.3 on Windows 7 and all I see is:

EQ Item Collection Engine v 4.00 (33.10) starting up...
Username set to:
Listening on Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I218-V.
Running in quiet mode.
Connection close detected, resetting.

Setting up session: Client port 60272, Server port 2299. SKey is 0x39f1600c.
Connection close detected, resetting.

Setting up session: Client port 60272, Server port 1538. SKey is 0x685f5e2f.


It hasn't been patched yet for the April update. Not sure when it will be patched but I'll let everyone know when it is.

Should I re-install it? Doesnt seem to be working for me. It sees packets, but no items. Also, I cannot upload my character profiles, keeps saying wrong password or not premium. Both of which are not true.

EDIT: Never mind, I see that it should auto-update itself. Well, I guess it isn't updated for the June patch then.

Correct. Once a month it has to be patched in order to work with the current game client since the game client gets patched every month.

I'll post once it has been updated for the June patch.

Meanwhile, the EQItems Collector works fine right after the patch. I wish it would be the same for Zam's collector.

The Item collector closes whenever I try to select a profile to upload to Zam. I don't do anything other than click on the profile. This only applies to profiles that have been updated since the patch. My old ones (for characters that haven't been logged in yet) open just fine.

This should be fixed now, you'll need to close the program out and open it back up again to download the update. If the program is still closing out, go into the folder where the item collector is and delete itemcol3.db, close the program out and run it again and zone/camp out and back in to process your player inventory. It should work after that.

Item Collector is not working currently, it seems. "Packets" is showing numbers, but "Items Seen" is 0, and "Items Uploaded is 0. No Profiles are showing up in the "Profile Manager". I have selected "Profile Support" in options.

The item collector hasn't been patched for the last game update yet. This is the reason why it isn't working.

Item collector cannot upload to server. I get the message:

I went to update the collector yesterday and today and getting the same message "An error occured while downloading an update, please try again later."

Today the EQ patch hit so it won't work until the Item Collector is patched again.

We were ironing out some issues yesterday so that might have prevented you from downloading.

I'll let everyone know when the item collector has been patched for the Jan 2020 update.

I have the latest patch. but when I go to upload my profiles it says Error: Failed to send.

It can see packets and upload info to your servers while playing but it won't upload profiles.

There are some issues with character profile uploads with the current item collector after the last game patch. SwiftyMUSE I believe is working on it.

Still getting the "An error occured while downloading an update, please try again later." Tried uninstalling and didn't help. Even turned off Norton to make sure it didn't cause issues.

Check your firewall or router to see if it's allowing port 23183 outgoing. That is the port the item collector connects to on lucy.
