Do you have an ornamentation on your other character that backend.exe doesn't crash on? If not then ya that's the issue. Let me know so I can pass it along to the IC developer.

I expected the profile to be generated on the fly. How much needs to be configured manually before it will sync up?

If it's a new character then it should automatically set the server here on the site. However if you create the character here on the site and then use upload when the server here on the site is different, then you'll most likely get that error.

No luck then; new characters are not being created. Nor will a manually created character update. Is there any advanced logging?

The Item Collector crashes when inspecting Alerynril the Loyal, I tried twice and it stopped working at Forgotten Crypt Key.

Thanks for the reports folks. Keep them coming in. Anytime you experience a crash. Let us know what you were doing and so forth when it crashes.

Soon we'll be setting up the item collector on a repository where I can help work on these issues.

Yes I have ornamentations on both weapons on other toons and no crashing. Heck I have other weapons on my main with ornamentations and don't have issues. The issue is just when I put one on Invested Honed Wurmslayer and it doesn't matter what one is on it, it crashes as soon as I put it on. I've had no issues running it since taking it off.

The item collector is crashing right now due to some merchant changes in game. We're aware of it and are working on the issue.

Item Collector is patched for the November 21st patch.

We're aware of the merchant listing crashing backend.exe and are working on it.

Every Time I log in my toons on the Agnarr server it reads my inventory fine even sends items to your servers. but I get the response in the IC window: Warning: Player inventory with null profile.

All my toons on the Luclin server work fine. Only my Agnarr toons get that response.

The Item Collector is not working since last (minor) patch. The "interface number out of range" error message is a different thing, though. Go to Options > Settings and select the network interface to be used. If you use temporary interfaces like a VPN then the error message might appear or disappear depending on the VPN being active or not. The Item Collector happens to store and use a volatile interface number instead of a permanent interface id, I already mentioned that bug.
