Item collectorFollow

I just installed the item collector but appear to be having 2 problems.

1. Sometimes when I zone, I get the following error:

Session lost. Disabled until next zone.
Last sequence: 0x1076
Pcap stats: received: 203374, dropped: 2380

2. When it does work after zoning and it lists the items in my inventory and NPCs in the zone, the Items Seen/Uploaded counts never go up.

This type of error message is caused by network issues between Daybreak Games, you and the server.

The only way to reestablish a session at the moment is by zoning. If you don't want to zone or you are in a bad spot to move, you can camp out real quick and log back in and it should reestablish the connection.

How are your computers routed through your network? Are they tied directly into a router or do they go through a switch first?

When you open up the items to look at their item window, it doesn't connect to the server to upload them?

Which are some of the items that aren't seen?

Try deleting the itemcol3.db file in the item collector directory. Close out the program and open it back up and zone and then open up the item again.

Items seen and uploaded are only updated when the IC connects to the server and gets back a response asking for updates. If no updates are needed it will update the seen only, if updates are needed it has to connect sending the items and wait for a response saying they were updated. After all that is done the uploaded count is updated.

Depending on your settings... most likely you have quiet mode on. Any item you have already collected locally (that doesn't have any changes) will not be displayed in the window.

The number of packets being dropped tells me that there is something going on in your internal network. With that many dropped it is most likely that the IC can not connect to the server and get responses from the server. It appears it is something outside of the programs ability to try and self-correct for.

Well, that made things worse. IC didn't even recognize it was installed so I went back to the latest version. I don't understand how the internal network could be dropping packets. I use other applications that utilize winpcap and they have no issues.

Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-Bit
WinPcap 4.1.3 (but the packet.dll says 4.1.0.2980)

Now here's something strange. I logged onto one of my alts and IC no longer complains about dropped packets. My alt has significantly less inventory then my main character. In fact I have so much stuff I used to cause buffer overflow errors and would crash the server until the devs figured out my character's data file size was the cause. Could IC be choking on the huge list of inventory items it sees every time it starts a new session after zoning?

It's also still not uploading my new item: Item(148834): Invested Tome of Obulous [Invested Tome of Obulous]

Unless it's in the database and just not searchable? It's connecting to the server to do book and lore text updates, but it's not queuing up the items.
