But I still think you are taking this way too seriously. And you camped a whole thread because the OP annoyed you. Dude just rate down the first post.

I'm sorry if you think i'm wrong but quite frankly this annoys me and i took actions to remedy the situation as i saw fit.
I have had posts i enjoyed reading nuked away for no reason other than that it pissed some other person off.

Just because this is a game forum doesn't mean it can't be fun or entertaining as WELL as being informative.
Just because a thread doesn't spill the secret to being a millionare, the best player in the world, or how to use the auto-translate function and get JP invites all the time doesn't mean its not worth reading or participating in.
My point is, why didn't you just ask the admins to nuke it rather than post in it about how dumb we all were, and how everyone expects things to be handed to them blah blah blah.
Obviously they would have, as Darkflame demonstrated. There was no reason to belittle and insult people. That's what I took issue with.

I posted my opinion in an attempt to convince people to stop posting/rating and instead of saying "STFU STOP POSTING OMG N00bS" i tried to write out my thoughts clearly.
Any insult was solely intended for the OP, who was in fact asking for a handout.
When people post fun things in FF that are not "totally game related" i don't say anything, but this was 100% OT and a waste.

I think Sheeba has a good point, TseTsuo. as I commented in the aforemention Nuked thread, there's a lot of people who have a sense of community on Allakhazam. I will concede that threads probably need to have at least some connection to the game...but I am not a FFXI font of wisdom, nor are most people here. We will post stuff just for fun. I personally think Allakhazam would be kind of boring if it were just a glorified online version of a BradyGames manual.
If I have a thread I'm not interested in, I just don't post in it. And if I have an issue you need to take to an Admin, I'd agree that it should be e-mailed to them privately rather than making a public issue about it.

I don't know, perhaps what I mentioned isn't insightful at all. It seems pretty plain to me, in fact, though I was unaware of it when I began coming to these forums.

I do that too, but this was just asking for trouble. I wasn't sure how long it would take to get nuked so i wanted to say something hoping people would stop before it got bad.
It was interesting to see sheeba's guru/sage status toggle back and forth as this went on since so many people seemed to be rating up and down.
If a post is OT then i usually dont care, this just got on my nerves since it wasn't just a karma rant it was an invite to f' up the system even more.
