When the retail release hits, are you fabulians going to stay in Fabul? I mean, come on...bragging rights baby!! "I've been on this server since the beta".
Well I'm glad to see we finally got our own forum, it seems my petition on the general discussion might have worked.. lolz
Anywho, yea, I plan on staying on Fabul due to its consistently lower population thus far. Lower populated servers seemingly cater more to the solo player or small parties with more open hunting grounds, which is how I see myself playing the game.
For all those who are going to stay on Fabul, or consider moving to Fabul with the release.. Welcome.

I am torn right now. I have a character on Bodum and one on Fabul. There doesn't seem to be much a difference between them right now.
The one thing that does worry me is the JP population immediately gravitated to Mysidia, my guess is because it was a FF4 city. If that is the case, then wouldn't they flock to Fabul as well?
Just what is running around in my head. I am leaning more toward Fabul, but I don't want to get stuck on a predominantly JP server, I remember reading all those XI horror stories of people who were :(

Though I have posted here as a Fabulian, I am actually on Trabia - but me and my partner are moving there on launch and starting a Semi-Soical LS. I don't think many Japanese will flock there - they're already claimed 3 worlds as is.

Do you know where you saw the three worlds being claimed and which ones they were? I really want to stay with Fabul, but like I said if there is a chance it is going to go JP only I don't want to live that nightmare.
What kind of social LS are you starting up? (i.e. NA, EU, etc) :)

Mysidia, Figaro and Selbina.
Same as we had in FF11 when we played (3 years ago?). We had people based in England and the US from east to mid to west. I myself am an American in England. Its very easy to make events that fit both time frames.
I think I'm staying with Fabul. #1, it's the best city from the best Final Fantasy. #2, though there aren't a lot of people, I'm pretty sure they're actual people. I was on Besaid for a while. One group was roleplayers who wouldn't talk to anyone who didn't RP, and the other group seemed to be zombies. I would say, 90% of the time when I put out a /shout or /tell, it was ignored, making me feel like I was surrounded by the walking dead. They might, in actuality, be douchebags, or just non English speakers, I dunno. But so far on Fabul, I've found that people are actually willing to interact.

I think that the lack of interaction might be based on the fact that its still beta, people are really just trying things out, seeing whats what etc. Hopefully come launch we'll see more talking :)
I'm definitely going to stay on Fabul!
So much people running around, I can't wait to see what's the final release is going to be like.
To be honest I hope all the servers won't be 100% crowded so I can invite my friends to join me on the same server later.

After checking out a few other servers, I am staying with Fabul too. Only 2 more days!

I've been on fabul since it opened up and aside from it usually having one of the lower pops., I've found a good number of players that are friendly and willing to work on leves outside of LS. I plan on staying and making Fabul one of the most interesting worlds.
BTW who all is getting the CE, I'm looking forward to Wednesday.

Yah Fabul is pretty sweet I like it so far.
