Mollies helped a little, but what ended up being the win was kill phase 1-2 spiders then phase 3 bait the body explosion but stay on the edge of it. Then when it was over I went in for the snicker snack kill. Felt real good. Had no respect for this boss till chalice. Chalice interest renewed.

Finally got Logarius down today. Didn't even try to buff for phase 2 due to a lucky visceral. Which meant he couldn't do the sword thing. Also got Micolash using accidentally discovered epic cheese strats.

Nice job on Marty. I still need to do that fight. Might be a good break up from the chalice grind soon. Also don't at all take this the wrong way because I love your videos. But that Ludwig damage kinda blows. It's making your life harder. The Blades of Mercy put out tons more damage than that. Of course I don't have your range or arcane power so always a trade off but, try it on your next alt. It's going to be very hard for me after this BoM run to respect any other weapon.

Time for a sunny D walk again. Smiley: smile

Awooo some call it Kos. Now your ready for shadows of farmin and invetro pig farming! That bonfire after Nick Cage is the one. Smiley: nod

Kill Vicar Amelia first try. I think I was over-leveled for the fight as I still managed to win despite ******* up the dodging.

I have a Skill rating of 12 and an arcane of 40. There's no way a BoM would be better for my current character. Smiley: tongue Ultimately, though, my favorite build for the Souls games was big sword because I like being able to just sweep through packs with ease and love the reach. Also, the last two bosses I faced actually have fairly decent fire and bolt resistances unlike the remaining bosses, so those two will tend to skew damage low.

My second character is going bloodtinge focused with some skill, so he might make halfway decent use of some BoMs, but ultimately I'm focusing on gunshots(buffed Reiter, ashed Evelynn), which apparently actually gets easier rather than harder later in the game when enemies have more easily targetable weak spots.

I'm still debating who to run as my third character, so if that character backstory lends itself to a skill build, I'll probably do BoM, though I'm also considering Str and a hammer if that fits the character better.

Honestly, you don't see many vids where people don't end up just face tanking half of her hits, it seems. I think we're supposed to dodge towards her most of the time or something, but we just can't bring ourselves to do so on an instinctive level. And you killed her faster than I did, so I certainly can't give you any crap for it. Smiley: laugh

Fair enough. I kind of regretting writing that anyway, bit drunk getting ready for the big fight tonight. (hosting) Ludwig's is obviously good. I am just sometimes amazed by the damage on BoM. But since I have not ponied up for more PS+ and have not videoed my kills it's just lip service anyway. So I deserved to be berated for that original statement but you sir took the high road, kudos.

Off subject question, but what's the deal with the vendor prices? Do they raise/lower based on how much Insight you have?

You guys have any idea what the non-hostile yet targetable "Blue Ghost with a Staff" is for in the 3rd level of the first Chalice Dungeon?

What's PS+ got to do with videoing kills? I've never had it and still do so. Smiley: nod

Vendor prices go up every time the night progresses. Gascgoine, Amelia, Rom and game completion are the spots where they'll go up.

I don't remember that, but if it's targetable I likely killed it. Lemme go start some breakfast heating and I'll go grab my roommate's guide and see if there's anything about it there. Edit: They're called Pilgrims. If you attack it, it does a single arcane explosion attack and reverts to non-hostile, but they have no super armor and are vulnerable to combos. They have a fairly high chance of dropping either 8 blood vials or 12 silver bullets.

Charge R2, check his prostate, Kill 3rd pig, profit. Some people pull the second 2 pigs to the 4 shadows of yharnam above them but I tried it an it's too chaotic and not time efficient. (They fight each other)
Started farming these guys tonight. Excellent circuit. Roughly a level each run before Moon runes. Gonna get my END up to 30 and my Arcane up to 45, then go after Mergo's Wet Nurse.

Who is apparently real weak to poison(especially Rapid Poison), if anyone finds themselves having trouble with her.

Two new vids. One boss kill and one hidden item one.

Saying Hello:
Mergo's Wet Nurse:
One shot on the kill. But more interestingly, after uploading the vids, sat down to eat and watch some anime. Watched an episode of Celestial Method and spotted this when the little girl was talking to the saucer.

Thanks. I kind of had a staring contest with it for 30 seconds until I backed away slowly and confirmed that it wasn't following me. Didn't want a repeat of New Londo.

I remember killing something and getting a bunch of blood vials in the first dungeon. So I probably assumed it was better to kill it than to wait for it to come after me.

The saucer started doing virtual fireworks when she did that. So, let's go with that unless you wanna read the spoiler. Technically, she IS the saucer, or so she claims.

How the hell do you get past the walking eye-brains without immediately dying from Frenzy? My Insight is 20, so I should still be protected.

That place blows major chunks, serious. But the good news is once you open the shortcut you don't need to run past the *********** anymore. It's just a drop to elevator and fight Amygydala after that. Find the shortcut.
