Dating sim/Puzzle game. Released on Steam a couple days ago and is apparently getting attention from Youtube streamers. My twitter feed was getting blown up by mentions of it through much of last night, but couldn't check it out because NSFW and all. Finally got around to checking it out about half an hour ago, and I have to say I think it looks pretty damn cool for what it is.

This video is fairly mildly NSFW, due to language and somewhat risque outfits:

Anyway, I rather like the style, so I'll probably pick it up.

Edit: In case you're wondering, the dev released a nudie patch. Or so sayeth the comments on the Techraptor article.

They had me at "Did I hurt your whore feelings?" and I bought it two days ago.

I bought it expecting a wreck of a game base don the trailer but it's actually entertaining assuming you're entertained by Match-3 games. You meet a girl and spend money talking to her (via buying her food/gifts) and building up your "Hunie" which you then spend on enhancements for the dating Match-3 game. After the date you get money based on how well you did (I need dates like that) and the cycle begins anew. After four successful dates, you can have a night time date which leads to bedtime frolicking represented by a lightning round Match 3 game. Win that for some anime porn shots. Rinse and repeat another 5-7 times to complete the game.

It's not a game to be taken seriously. It's unabashedly crass and insulting but so much so that I couldn't take it seriously to get offended. You bang a cheerleader and her adult film star mother (not at the same time). You give some Japanese teacher chopsticks and she calls you a racist. You ask every woman how big her boobs are. Shy girls are sending you naughty selfies after two dates. Taken as a joke, it's amusing for a while. But I've read reviews by people taking it seriously, not even in a "OMG FEMINISM!" way but comparing it to various Visual Novels or Sim-Romance games and I think that's a mistake. There's no depth, no real story development, the women are all caricatures, you're a joke of guy asking them out and it is what it is. The Match-3 puzzles are fun enough though.

Yeah, it doesn't seem to take itself seriously from the vids I've seen and that's what makes it sound so awesome to me.

Lots of new games in this genre recently. The people who get mad at everything and think their own social justice rules should be applied to everyone, on all the things ever, are already coming out in the community hubs to whine.

I'll prolly pick this up at some point though on sale.

*Oh and I like this new strategy. Release neutered version, make it easy to patch. Enjoy your eroge if you want to for cripes sake. Nekopara! lol

Oh, this was the bit that I saw that made me buy it. Spoilered for language

I have no idea what "Bounce" and "Work Security" in the options at the end were. Features that never made it into the game, I guess.

Apparently two of the women in this game are Mother and Daughter. Too bad you can't get them both at the same time...

Edit:
Also the uh... patched version is pretty graphic. Not just a bit of tits, as you'd expect. So, probably don't want to enable that unless you really are into that sort of thing. Not quite that Nekopara, but almost, with no pixelation.

Oh, and for obvious reasons, you have to be a male to get some of the extra pictures.

Multi-tasking.....proning while gaming, ftw. (keyboard is doomed I say!)

I don't suppose there is a hot young cartoon man sporting a hard-on as reward for clearing a board?

Not in this one. Only the female tidbits are visible. And the occasional male evidence.

But I think there are one or two VN games currently on Steam where your targets are young, handsome, men if that's your thing.

I'd rather it be a space invader like screen to clear. The Bejewelled type games dont' do much for me.

Yeah and tetris like ones. They reveal a picture as you clear the screen.

I've never revealed any dirty pictures. I'm playing the wrong games.

Space Invaders was the first video game i ever got addicted too. I learned how to rob the tampon machine for quarters.

That's awesome. Smiley: lol I collected cans for recycling so I could play Dig Dug, Joust , and Galaga. at the pizza shop/arcade/conveniant store.

Also here is my name for your Ecchi game hybrid kickstarter:

"Space Penetrators!"

Huh Huh? You know it would overshoot it's goal really fast. (ok that's enough bad innuendos for now.)

Man, I predict a major snow storm six weeks out with a dream(thus allowing me to avoid driving in it by taking a vacation) and now I mention a bundle(even if only in response to someone mentioning a game) and it comes back! Next dream I have about lottery numbers, I'm writing that crap down. Smiley: laugh

Assuming one would play it, it's worth it for Stalker: SoC alone since that game never goes on Steam sales any longer. Even when GOG puts it on sale, it's only for 50-66% off and not the 75%/$5 price it used to hit.

Jesus H. Christo. WTF. I sat down and started playing and suddenly it's 3 hours later and my foot's asleep. Apparently I really don't notice time in games like this.

It's really pretty fun. The art and eroge are not that big a deal but the dialogue can be hilarious. And of course the match game is super addictive. I played it without knowing what I was doing my first run and started failing hard after 2 girls. So I rerolled after reading a guide.

My strat that wins easy now:

Raise passion first while looking for any easy sentiment or bells. Avoid matching the girls primary favorite color until passion modifier is higher. You can get passion up pretty easy with 6 sentiment and re-usable bear gift to make all broken hearts passion tokens.

Then when you do match primary colors the passion modifier will give you WAY more points.

Other thing I found out later is gifts with heart icons in store while talking will give date useable super gifts and once you unlock those there are lots of strategy variations.

Also if you want to build you hunie really fast both The hot teacher and the ****** shopping girl will drink anywhere any time of the day and you will get huge hunie bonuses.

I only have 2 girls left except for the last boss, already did the secret unlock ones. Even with maxed out traits and strategic date gift layout per girl it's getting pretty hard again to get them all in one run. I don't even care about the remaining girls I'm just in it for the challenge for a while now lol.
