I gotta get a book in the mail today for my Dad, but I don't know what to get him. He likes action-adventure stuff but not fantasy; westerns, historical fiction...that sort of stuff. Non-fiction histories/biographies etc if it's not too dull and exceptionally good.
I usually only send him stuff I've read, but I've spend most of this year slogging through Lincoln's Team of Rivals. I got nothin'.
