As to not dirty up the PC deals thread. I tend to not notice these deals as often as the PC deals due to rarely ever checking out the shops on the consoles.

But today and tomorrow, for the Wii, if you are a Club Nintendo member you can get Super Mario RPG for 200 coins. Usually 800 Wii Points. A good deal since the coins are just rewards for buying games/consoles and taking surveys. I had 410 coins on my account so I went ahead and purchased it. For the most part the rewards are kind of "Meh" but this one was a nice bonus.

What an amazing coincidence. I have 200 coins and loved that game.

OK nm I completely misinterpreted that. I dont have a club membership or 200 coins, I have 200 wii points.

200 coins isn't a lot, you might have 200 coins worth of rewards waiting to be done on site.

Only had 2 games with pins, so i only managed 110. Most of my games are used with no inserts.

Super Mario RPG was one of the few SNES games to utilize a processor chip on the cartridge as well as the hardware of the SNES. An interesting feature of the SNES that allowed developers to increase the power of the SNES by using the cartridge to handle some of the processing.

Yeah I know but all systems now days have a good bit more Processing power even with 2 chips. Alot of it is optimization and full use of the hardware with the PSP, the Evo plays it just fine but the controls are terrible (i hate on screen). I mean the SNES only had like a 21 Mhz (Aprox) CPU? 64 kb of Vram? There is no reason my PSP which has clocks of up to 333Mhz shouldnt be able to run SNES games well. Its all the encoding and program optimization.

Well, that's what I mean. The emulation problems come from the emulators not being optimized for the additional feature of the cartridge processing.

Ni No Kuni for the PS3, only $19.97

Well worth it, if you didn't get it back at release.

If you wait, Amazon has it as their Gold Box deal today at 3pm PDT.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox

Not sure how cheap it will be, maybe they'll go down to 19.99. Amazon has better shipping prices.

There are a lot of other console deals throughout the day as well.

Looks like it's going to be $25. May still pass, depending on shipping.
