I might have to pick this up this weekend. But for some reason a buddy of mine and me decided to play through Fallout 3 again. So I might finish doing that first since it totally sucked me in again.

I wouldn't count on picking it up since it isn't being released until June 14th.

Seems like positive reviews all around. Even the lowest reviews are still relatively high. Only 15 hour campaign though, guess that means half the people here won't think it's worth full price.
Multiplayer info (possibly rumors, I'm not sure) I've seen has been pretty interesting.
Im not against consoles, I mean I dont pay full price for PC games either. I could have just said "Games are almost never worth full price" and it would have been the same, cept I wanted to say it in that way to make it seem more snooty.
There's a little bit of MP shown in the Sessler review. Looks kind of similar to Tomb Raider multiplayer.
I'll probably pick it up at release, since I'm not playing anything else on console, really. Just some Halo 4 multiplayer, and some Dark Souls. 15 hours isn't terrible to me, and I tend to play through campaigns a bit slow anyway, usually taking a couple hours longer than the estimated length.
I've started on Normal and played a little more than an hour an a half. Main characters have just met. So far no zombies. (Spoiler's not even a real spoiler, but just in case someone doesn't want to know order of early events... It's a slow start, made even more slow because you can't sprint through the beginning (just walking around town, etc.) Kind of dislike that, but what ever. I'm not staying up late to play it though, going to sleep regularly and spend the day tomorrow and Sunday playing.
My only real criticism so far is there is all this background that you can't seem to interact with. Walking around in buildings, so many shelves, boxes, etc. Can't do anything with about 95% of them. I'm suspecting that will probably change as I go on...

Oh, and the Listen Mode is not nearly as God-like as people feared. Can also be turned off in the options. Unless someone/thing is actively making noise it doesn't give you anything.
The stuff where enemies won't detect you if you're in stealth but Ellie runs out into vision does break immersion a bit. I think it could have been handled a bit differently. I do prefer the immersion break to her getting seen and causing encounters I'm trying to avoid, though.
Also, I'm just constantly impressed with what they do with the PS3's limited graphics. The game looks pretty damned good (though there are some issues, like the highly noticeable repetitive blood pools). I'm excited to see what Naughty Dog will do with the PS4.
I'm playing through this at a relatively slow pace due to life stuff happening. The artbook that came with the collectors edition is very nice, but I got slapped in the face with a spoiler almost immediately. I did a very good job of staying ignorant of all spoilers and game info, outside of the official trailers. It's a great game so far and I'm really looking forward to probably finishing it up this weekend.
For those without a PS3 or who don't really want to play the game, there's a pretty good movie-style edit of the cutscenes/dialog with a bit of gameplay cut in to tie it together, here:
