So I saw something online the other day somewhere (I forget, but possibly browsing old PS blog news) and came across what I think is a fantastic deal. If you sign up for the Playstation Visa and make a purchase, you will get two digital codes you can redeem on the PSN store. The first is good for 12 free months of PS Plus. This is an even better deal now if you have a Vita because you have something like 12-14 games that are free through PS3/Vita. The other is a $50 credit for your wallet on the store. Basically $100 free. I went through the fine print and didn't find any reason not to get the card. It's through Capital One so it's fairly simple to get, even if you have mediocre credit. There's no annual fee and the APR is 0% through 9/30/2013. From what I could tell if you are so inclined, you could sign up for the card, make a purchase, pay the balance and cancel your card.
Thought some people might want to know this since I found the offer too good to pass up.
The blog post is from 09/2012 and states it's a limited time offer. I was worried the PS Plus was no longer included because it isn't mentioned anywhere in the application process, only the $50 gift card. I just got my email today though with the two codes so it is still in effect.
Here's a link to the blog post if you want to read more.
