Speaking of Wing Commander, Chris Roberts did an AMA on reddit that was pretty interesting. His new game, Star Citizen, is looking like it will be pretty awesome, though it's a ways off.

Origin only, again. Each time you post a KoA sale, I pray it's for Steam; yet I get nothing but disappointment. Smiley: glare

It's probably never going to be a Steam release. Either get with Origin, or get over it. I'm not an Origin fan either, but for twelve bucks, I can learn to live with it.

All I know is I watched and waited for Reckoning to go on sale during Steam Summer Sale...

...and not only did Reckoning never drop past the standard 33%, but Mass Effect and Sims 3, two games that frequently make the big sale list, never made the list either.

Maybe EA will change their mind, but I feel they won't be approving sales for any big EA games on Steam any time soon...

38 Studios had two distribution deals. They had their own deal with Steam and then sold EA a distribution deal for a one time lump payment to try and stay solvent. 38 Studios went under so Steam has no one to negotiate sales with (I think they can do smaller sales, hence the 33%). EA owns their rights outright so they can put it on sale as often as the want and as deep as they want.

The only way it'll ever on any significant sale via Steam is if someone buys the IP and decides to start doing distribution on it again. Of course, if it goes to auction and EA buys it...

Also, I see the sale is still active. Thought it was shorter than that but, if you're interested, I'd get it now rather than waiting.

Binary Domain is on sale for $7.49 from GMG with code GMG25-UAAHK-6AI9S

I haven't played it but I know a lot of people said it was a pretty solid and under-rated 3rd person shooter.

No internet at home yet. I love this game but lost it at some point. I forever wish they would update it.

I always had to play as Gaia's Stepdaughters, because Lady Deirdre Skye . . . well, because Lady Deirdre Skye. Awesome game.

Alien crossfire?

Sorry for not being clear. Yes, when I referred to loving the game, I meant to include SMAX as well. But that was how many years ago? Ten, maybe? And Apolyton has an unofficial patch for SMAX but it's still a ten year-old game.

Would be nice to see it updated but I have a feeling it won't happen anytime soon since Reynolds left the company.

$584 spent on games.... http://www.steamcalculator.com/id/g0dless420

Not a steam deal, but a nifty tool for seeing how much your account would be worth, it does not account for sales, gifts, or games that were free at one point (portal) .... Whats Jophs name? I want to see how much he's spent over the years Smiley: sly

Syntax-Error

Found 110 Games with a value of
$1858.87 USD

That is, of course, ridiculously over-valued. Kind of funny to see games I spent $10 on listed for $49.99

I should get bonus points for having almost the entire alphabet; just need a game that starts with X and I'm set.
