Greenmangaming is putting Space Marine on sale for 75% off starting midnight EST. US audiences only. Steam activated.

Feel free to comment on sales, tips or games for sale and whether they're any good. I figure this was easier than starting a new thread every time.

I could start a new thread every couple of days and someone would just cry about that.

Enter code CUSTO-MERLO-YALTY to get 25% off preorders for Darkness II, Gotham City Imposters or Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai through Greenmangaming.

Steam needs to do something interesting so I don't feel like I'm shilling for GMG. Putting Duke Nukem on sale isn't it.

Steam has all Warhammer 40k games on sale for 66% off this weekend.

I also read that code as "CUSTOM ROYALTY" on first glance.

I'd love to give Shogun II a try sometime, but my laptop now overheats and shuts down when I try to watch a youtube video that's over 2 minutes long, so I think that's a no-go. Smiley: glare

Latest Humble Bundle is going on.

- World of Goo
- Osmos
- Edge
- Anomaly

The draw on this one is that, in addition to the PC download, you can get them as Android apps.

World of Goo is worth it for the music alone. The fact that it's an awesome game helps.

Sometimes I wonder if you people don't actually play games, but collect them.

I don't purchase every game I mention, I just let people know in case they want to play them.

Out of the Bundle: Edge sucked, World of Goo is good times, Anomaly is okay and Osmos is... ummm... probably best played while stoned.

I got curious and checked. Out of 48 games on Steam, I've played 31 of them. So 65%. That's probably lower if I include the couple purchases I've made from other sources that don't activate on Steam.

On the other hand, that'll go way down before the summer sale and I'm sure at least a few of those games will get played for a few hours and dumped as not-very-good.

That didn't count HiB stuff since I tend to get those for one game and wind up with 6+ games, most of which don't interest me.

Anyone here have Space Marines? When that game was announced I was very excited about it, but I really wanted a good co-op game and from what ive read there isnt much in the way of a co-op campaign and the demo was so so. Is this still true? I know they've added some content.

I have Steam & GMG on my Twitter feed and look at GetGamesGo when I think about it which isn't all that often. Amazon tends to email me with whatever their offers are. I almost never look at GOG but I know sometimes specials there pop up.

Most of the stuff either activates through Steam or else is a straight download without having to run another service. I don't bother with Origins.

Apparently there's a site, SteamGameSales, that is an aggregate site for direct distribution sales across several DD platforms.

Steam has Skyrim for 33% off if you still don't have it and missed the 50% GMG sale earlier.

They also have The Elders Scroll Collection (Morrowind: GOTY, Oblivion: GOTY & Skyrim) for $50
