There were some awesome conversations in the original two. Grab Ohgren, Wynne and Alistair and head to (I think) the Dalish area.
Varric, Isabela and Aveline can be pretty funny too.

Don't forget that you can call in reinforcements during the final fight. I forget about it completely the first time around and it made the fight significantly harder than it needed to be. Still beat it on the first try though.

Good ending. I liked how not everything ended wonderfully. Well, not "liked" since I felt a little "Hey, damn it..." about some stuff but I appreciated it from a story-telling standpoint and the idea that I affected the direction of the world.
I got a bit about how most of the governing was done by me which felt a little out of nowhere since I never displayed any desire to run things myself. I suppose the implication is that Alister was just that bad at it whereas I was more of a leader.
There was no mention of Leliana (or however you spell it) and I despite me having a romance with her and taking the conversation path that we'd stay together. It just said that eventually all the adventurers split up. Oh well.
As a "negative effect", coronating Harrowort seemed like a good idea at the time but I guess that didn't work out so well for Dwarf-town
Very good game and well worth my time. I'll do the one-off DLC bits (Witch hunt, etc) and probably come back again to try a different character played with a different personality beside the straight paladin-ish hero but I have other games to get into as well. Maybe Mass Effect next.

It should have mentioned Leliana in the prologue. Your game must have just bugged a little. Here, just find which one matches your playthrough.

It mentioned that the Chantry discovered the Urn's location but didn't mention Leliana by name. Anyway, no big deal.

Having just played through Mass Effect myself, I can highly recommend it. I liked it a ton better than DA2, for sure.

The problem I had with ME2 was that it was too easy. They did this for those people who QQ about a games difficulty. I can honestly say that in ME 2 I only had 2 fights that I had to do more than once to get through them, ME1...too many to count. I will however be at Gamestop at launch for ME3, and then play until I pass out.

Best get on that, especially if you plan on playing through the DLC. You've only got about a month and half to go. I already bought Skyrim, my only problem is going to be that AC: Revelations comes out a few days after Skyrim. Even giving up sleep, I just can't pull off both at the same time. Choices like this are simultaneously awesome and terrible.

Witch Hunt was, eh, okay. The high point was getting to chat with Morrigan again. The low points were just about everything else. Short game, annoying new characters and a plot I didn't care about.
Also, it ended with Morrigan saying she had left something for me. When I clicked the glowy, it gave the "item found" and immediately ended the game by going straight to credits without me being able to look at my inventory. I assume it was the robe or whatever you get from doing the DLC but it was a rather jarring ending.
But, hey, more Morrigan
