I don't think either Elven origin does. But they make up for it by being emotional in other ways.

You'll see a lot of betrayal in the game, but it's not like every plot line will involve new instances of it. You'll obviously see far-reaching results of Loghain's betrayal though.

played all the origin stories, ended up going back to my female dwarf noble. the grey warden initiation was great... then a couple sequences later i just got bogged down by the sheer amount of dialog.
now i wanna go back and pick all the smartass 'stop wasting my time' options and see how far i can get :)

I'm thinking of waiting for DA:O collection to become a mega-bargain on Steam, it'll save me from having to buy DLC on my PS3
I really do have issues with how companies are handling DLC and other download prices. It's just absurd to me that they wouldn't drop the prices, especially after this much time. People shouldn't be punished for having bought the game early--you can get like all the DLC, the core game, and Awakening for $30 right now. But to buy all the DLC I don't have (excluding Awakening) it would be $30.
I mean, c'mon... At the very least make a download option of all the DLC and Awakening for that price, even if it requires you to have the game already.

I agree. I was surprised the prices were still so... pricey. I didn't really want awakening (although now I'm curious as to how it plays), but I wanted the DLC; and it ended up being a lot cheaper just to get the Ultimate edition.

I'm pretty sure you can plat any game even if you don't have its DLC--you don't get 100%, but you'll still get the trophy signifying that you got all the trophies related to the core game.
