ZAM had me try out this game last week, and an article of mine went up. At the time of the writing my character was around level 10-11. Usually after reviewing a game I stop playing after its done; Rusty Hearts is one of only two cases where that hasn't happened (Glitch being the other). I'm now level 14 and still really enjoying it.
According to Togikagi, the gameplay is very similar to Dragon Nest. It reminds me a lot of old arcade brawler games like BattleToads or Double Dragon, and a bit of Dynasty Warriors. You technically are 3-D, but get no camera control; the hallways might as well be 2-D. You can grapple, guard, combo attacks, and use finishing moves. You can get swarmed by enemies and tear through them, even in harder modes. The story is pretty decent, and unfolds through missions - the dialogue is pretty witty and thankfully mostly free of the translation errors most Perfect World Entertainment games have (hi there, Ether Saga).
I've got a review up if you're interested, and while it's in closed Beta they apparently are giving keys pretty freely. I'd recommend trying it out!

Edit: Forgot to mention the graphics are anime-inspired. It's a bit different from what I'm used to, and although they can look rough, I like them better than the typical cutesy stuff from PWE.

Edit2: The music for this game is really catchy as well. Very energetic, gets your toes tapping, and goes great with the massive slaughter.
