What I find funny about most F2P games is that you can easily end up spending more on them than subscription games. Pay to unlock the class/race you want, since most games put restrictions there, pay for items/energy/health/whatever, pay for some special items, etc., etc., etc.
I mean, they mostly don't even seem like full games if you are a free player. And I mean that purely in a content sense. Like, assuming you are fine with the free options for your character, are you really going to be able to enjoy the game with just the free content (questing, dungeons, pvp, etc.)?
The answer seems to be, far too often, no. Though, to be fair, that's often because you are forced to buy the crap to be competitive, since others are buying it too. If no one bought items, for instance, you might not have to.
My BIGGEST pet peeve, though, is when F2P games require you to pay to use the AH. That's when I say "F*ck you" and uninstall it.
