I never got to play ME1, since my pc can't run it and microsoft owns it. Just wondering how the ME2 port is for someone that never played the original (I've heard it looks much better).
Basically I want to know:
Is the prologue sufficient in terms of choice options? I know what it DOES offer, but is there anything significant left out? Or something people personally feel they'd miss? (At the end of this post, there's a list of what choices you get to make for those that haven't played the PS3 version.)
How good is the prologue? Is it good enough to just go ahead and grab the PS3 version, or would it be better to wait for sometime in the future when I have the cash to afford a 360/new gaming rig (which might be a long while). If I did grab the PS3 game, I'd still probably play ME1 sometime in the future.
I'm really just worried that I'll feel like I missed out on some choices... The fact that I can't mod the game to let a male romance Kaidan (without save editors, which I refuse to use on a PS3) is already making me feel like I should just wait for a gaming rig...
Of course, there is the big pro that the game has been reworked on the ME3 engine variant...
The six choices that players can make in Mass Effect: Genesis are as follows:
Who became Shepard's love interest?
Should the Rachni Queen on Noveria be freed or destroyed?
What is the fate of Urdnot Wrex on Virmire?
Who is sacrificed on Virmire, Ashley Williams or Kaidan Alenko?
What happens to the Citadel Council during the Battle of the Citadel?
Who does Shepard endorse to represent humanity on the Council, David Anderson or Donnel Udina?
Thanks all.
