EQOA ActivationFollow

Hey all before I make the big jump into EQOA I am in the process of moving so just waiting till this whole ordeal is over. But the question is i have found a few places that do sell EQOA but if I buy it used will I be able to register it? I have heard that sony doesn't use the keys anymore so thats what I just heard. Also were is a good place to buy EQOA because wehn i checked sony they out of stock. Thanks
