Bioshock 2is ******* Awesome.Follow

I can't decide if I should buy Bioshock 2 or Mass Effect 2. I don't get paid until Friday, so I have a couple days to decide.

Mass Effect 2.

And you get to start your own collection of lolis!

It's quite similar to the first game: control wise, difficulty wise, & how you play it. This time, you are a Big Daddy so you adopt your own little sister.

The sound & atmosphere are pretty much the same & the graphics are better. If you loved the first one, you'll love the 2nd. Best single player FPS-Hybrid I've played since Fallout 3.

Although there's multiplayer now, it's separate from the main game.

In order to gather adam, you need a little sister. To get one, you need to kil her big daddy like in the original. But after you get her, you carry her around until she leads you to a body with adam. When she gets off to harvest it, splicers attack & you need to defend her. Thats the only time she needs defending. She takes no damage while being carried around & for a lot of the time, you don't even carry one around.

After she gathers enough, you collect adam from her by either freeing her or killing her. Like in the original, killing her gets you more.

The big daddies have some new moves, but are similar to the original. The big difference is the addition of big sisters. They're plasmid using ninja versions of big daddies.

ME2 get. I briefly considered Bioshock, Dante's Inferno, and CoD MW 2, but finally decided to get my space RPG on.

Meh, Fallout 3 was the same way in regards to GFWL, so I'm used to it.

Copy Protection is really getting out of hand and Microsoft is the worst. You would think they were starving to death the way they have made there Copy Protection. Windows 7 is a Royal pain if you buy the upgrade. Legally you can't just Install Windows 7 and show your XP disc as proof as your eligibility to use the upgrade. No they want you to install and activate Windows XP first then Install and Activate Windows 7. Takes twice as long to install a clean OS. Also a pain every time you upgrade your PC you have to call on the phone and spend about 15 minutes entering a new code to prove your still eligible.

So, they've effectively turned an offline single player game into an online single player game?

I watched my bf play Bioshock 2 last week. I really enjoyed the story, but I wouldn't recommend buying it unless you plan on playing it more than once. Just rent it, bf beat it in a couple of days.

I liked hacking better in the first one & the plot. Gameplay, overall, was smoother & superior in the sequel.

Both are excellent games.

The lack of crafting, in the sequel, makes the 2nd a bit less RPGy than the first, though. While Fallout 3 had many more RPG qualities than either Bioshocks.

I haven't play Borderlands, so can't compare either to it.

After people found the black light hidden messages in the posters, I called around and found a PC version of the Collector's edition and picked it up. Very nifty indeed, and I loved the first one. Not sure if I'll start right away though, FFXIII in less than 2 weeks!
