Played it for a few hours. Aside from the lack of mini map (which I played EQ1 which never had one, and EQ2 just so got one this year), it's not too bad. First thing I did was turn off click to move (I loathe that option).
First impressions: Graphics aren't as bad as most F2P games...I think the age market they are going for is the ex-Hello Kitty generation. Yes, the tutorial isle is horrible to get quests done, but with only 2 servers I expected that. They may not add many more servers when its OB but lets hope they do just so the starting island isnt so congested.
I think stats could be a little clearer. Quests that give me an option of 2 or more items, but early on you barely know what your stats do for you, so it's basically pick something and hope it's an upgrade.
The map system is by far the best part. I'm used to reading every word of the quest dialog for clues as to where to go...and here all I have to do is open my map and look for the marker saying "this area".
I do NOT like the quest helper at this point. You cant remove quests from it...so unless you like having 10 quests showing up on your screen at once it will annoy you.
There are a few glitches I've run into, but it is CB so I understand that (though, one was in the private starting tutorial and I think it had more to do with server or graphic lag (the final npc vanished before I could turn my quest in so I was in fact locked in that room, and had to relog and start the whole thing over)). Map icons seem to be 90% stable...they have a habit of disappearing at times.
So yeah, when its in OB I may just have to find out where everyone is playing. I will no doubt still be a summoner, and you can forget about me going heal spec.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"I want to be a unicorn!"
"Awww, why's that?"........
"So I can stab people with my face."
