I ain't talking critters here.

OK, so I finally got tired of getting clobbered and built a killer (rogue) of my own. Just recently moved out into the contested areas, and they're pretty devoid so far of opponents. So far I've seen only two. One was a hunter that blew by me at a dead run and disappeared before I could react. Sort of surprised me until I realize that she and her kitty were running (no mount) while I've been riding for six levels.

The other I saw was a priest five levels above me - at a distance which made a strategic withdrawal bot advisable and possible.

Any tips for finding playmates for my more lethal games?

Find places people tend to frequent, like a 'boss' you're supposed to kill for a quest, or a quest-giver or something and camp the area. Usually the people doing quests are quasi level-appropriate. Just be careful not to aggro the NPCs you're using as bait. It can also be a long wait at times.
