This goes for both factions honestly. I don't know how often I have heard people QQ about their faction always getting beat in battle grounds. Now I'm not trying to sound like a PvP expert, I have a LOT to learn, but from doing battle grounds more than ever lately, and because I prefer to learn my job more than just fill a spot, I have come up with a theory about this common QQ.

If your faction sucks at battle grounds, and you always lose and it seems like you win only 10% of the BG's you are in- well it might be YOU. One example is a guild mate of mine. He has duelist title, and is one of the better pvp rogues I know. Recently he switched factions because alliance always loses. But then I think back to some of the BG's I would que with him- he was the rogue in middle of the field killing stragglers, Never trying to peel people from healers/flag carriers. Never going with a group to help take down enemy healers/flag carriers. This doesn't work.

As I'm learning the individual battle grounds better, and learning what strategies work, my win percentage is going way up. As a healer my ego would like to let me believe I have a large influence on the outcome of a BG, but where I think players can be the most help is just knowing how to work with other people, and convey their ideas on the strategy and getting most the people to follow. When two random groups of 10/15/40 go head to head, often just a little strategy and ability to work together is enough to earn that win.

P.S. Two Pet peeves of mine in battle grounds. #1 is Rambo idiots running into 2+ enemy players to take a flag/kill fc alone instead of coordinating a quick group to run in together.
#2 Flag carriers who think once you got the flag, its a race to your base even when opposite faction has your flag. I don't know how often I have been following a FC, even on mount and they run into opposition. So of course I dismount and he may have 4 people around him, killing 3 horde- and in middle of it, they will dash away, out of range of my heals sticking me in combat so I cannot catch up. Then of course he runs into the other 5 members of the opposite team with no healers.

TL:DR version- You might suck at battlegrounds if you do not follow simple strategies of each battleground and consistently try to be Rambo and fight alone instead of helping your team capture objectives.
