How was your weekend gaming then?

Smiley: moogle

Took Miner from 38 → 41 so I could go and farm Electrum Ores and Raw Amber for my final run at Goldsmith without killing my purse. Big news is I then leveled Goldsmith 40 → 50!

Screenshot

It's my first craft at 50 and I'm delighted, even managed to HQ an Electrum Chocker, Red Coral Earrings, Militia Wristlets and 2 × Aetheryte Rings on first try. Now I need to work out Materia (and how to afford it)! Smiley: cool

I'm ashamed, I did nothing this weekend. I mostly stood in town and talked while debating what to do, which lead to me doing nothing.

I did however help a couple friends with their to-do lists, so I consider that a win.

Congratulations on 50!! Now you can make all the precious trinkets. :3 Some advice for materia: you can craft some level 55 accessories and then run a level 50 DoW/DoM job through Castrum with those equipped. When they become spirit bound, you just turn them into materia and hope you get lucky. So on top of farming your 100 tomes of phil., you're also getting some nice materia on occasion.!

Well, I dealt with a crapton of FC drama this weekend. HM Titan is super serious.

I got so fed up I quit the FC I've been a part of since day 1 when the serves went live. I liked them but stagnation at level 50 does odd things to people.

I leveled cooking! I'm so slow when it comes to crafting. Went from 15 to 23.

Leveled GLD (PLD) from 22 to 46. I am really enjoying tanking. It is pretty challenging to hold aggro, I think, compared to some of the other games I've played. I love always being kept on my feet!

Finally got ADS down after so many attempts. This was the third attempt with my static group. Some nice BLM wrists dropped so I now have my first piece of Allegan.

We had a blast in turn 3. It's a joke (no loot involved). We tried turn 4 a couple times tonight. Going to take some learning but not nearly as annoying as turn 2 I think.

Mainly trying to watch all of the WotG storyline that I missed from 11 in the off time. Kaoz made some very nice videos. Cute taru BST.

Hope everyone else had a great weekend.

What is that signs box? I've never seen it before.

In the lower left hand corner, there is a menu you will see (right above hotbar #5). It has a button that brings up that sign menu. Really useful on the go!

Thanks, I've been looking for different symbols to use for macros (I'm assuming you can use them for macro icons), the circle one has target macro written all over it!

I spent my entire time crafting and gathering this weekend. Went from 21-28 carpenter, 24-25 leatherworker, 20-26 armorer, 20-25 goldsmith, 22-26 miner, and 23-26 botanist. Now I just need to look up an optimal leveling path for alchemy and cooking.

43 -> 50 CRP
43 -> 50 BTN
43 -> 46 WVR
43 -> 46 LTW
0 -> 15 ALC (for Tricks of the Trade...took me less than an hour lol. HQ Ether ftw.)

Melded enough materia on my BTN lv43 gear set --give or take a hq offhand tool and an extra BTN af piece-- to get my perception at 320 for hq unspoiled nodes. Going to craft (hq) every artifact crafting gear I can for myself and my two other friends, so I need all the HQ crawler cocoons I can get.

This weekend was nuts for crafting. I mean, my first lv50 was a crafting class. Second a gathering class! Of all the...I don't even...

Finally found the fighting chocobo quest after all these weeks only because it was in the last two quest that pop up in the zone. It was worth the wait since I keep laughing when he high kicks or butt attack mobs while healing me.

Weekend was terrible... I ended up canceling my Relic Quest by accident... Lovely too since i had up to HM Titan unlocked... Was trying to get out of a 8-man duty that had 3 people left, and being half-awake i opened the journal and canceled the only thing that was up there by mistake, thinking it was CM instead... Poof...

Spoke with SE, nothing they could do. Only way is to re-do it from the very very very very very start where you have to pick up your weapon from a beastmen stronghold again. Kinda been depressed about it all weekend. My friends got me another sword with the materia in it to keep me from quitting over it, but despite that all, i simply havent been able to get a Chimera group anymore. They just dont seem to happen at all now.

On a more positive note, i quad-melded both my PLD HQ-rings (+6 VIT +10 Parry, with melded +6 STR, +10 Skill Speed) and i got my Blacksmith up to 45 from somewhere in the 30's before that.

Still yeah... terrible weekend.

I took Armorer from 37-40 (Closing in on 41)
Took Mining from 24-28
Took Leatherworking from 15-20
Took Goldsmith form 20-25
Left Culinarian at 37 because it's not very much fun to level, and I already have SHII.
And last but not least, Dragoon from 38-39... I barely play my Disciple of War jobs anymore, I finally did a few fates this weekend and used the seals to rank up to Sergeant First Class.

Same with Alchemy, my 2nd least favorite craft... used levequests to go to 15 and stopped lol.

I couldn't play as much as I would've liked because of some storms that came through the area. I got my Archer/Bard from 30 to 32 and my Gladiator on another character from 12 to 13. See? I didn't get much playing time. The longest stretch of gaming I did get in, though, was when my wife started a character and I played alongside her with my then level 12 Gladiator. We got her THM up to within 1000 EXP short of attaining level 9 before the storms forced us to stop. It was during this time that I leveled up my character, too. My wife is hooked on the game now. :) She wants to play again tonight, so we'll probably work til we get her to 15.

Having a wife that enjoys playing MMO's (especially this one and both Guild Wars games) is incredibly awesome!

So, not much time to play this weekend, but still lots of fun! Oh, and I'm about to tackle Haukke Manor for the first time this week.

FSH 10>22 and BRD 32>33. It may not be much but it's a huge accomplishment for my casual play time.

Got Katarh's CNJ to 27 and cleared Toto Rok. Also got woodworking to 16 and botanist to 15.

Not bad for maybe 4-5 hours of total play over three days.

Got my relic quest advanced up until Garuda (did Chim, Hydra and Ifrit all this weekend). Managed to get botanist from 19-31, and did a few CM/AK runs for more loots! Productive weekend overall.

Crafting then Mining then Crafting then Botany then Crafting then Mining and so on.

Having a second screen to craft/gather on while I watch TV is pretty excellent.

Gathering with a controller is very easy. At the end of each episode (Attack on Titan) I have 200+ of whatever without really thinking about it.

Then the crafting ensues.

WAR 41-43
GLD 15-20
PGL 10-12
ARC 25-26

Cutter's Cry x2
Helped a new player pass Ifrit when he was having a hard time finding people to help. <-- big win of the weekend

Excited about Stone Vigil which I flagged too

Forgot to mention that the Toto Rok clear was done with three people on my server and a pick up tank. The two other local folks turned out to be VERY local - we're all in the state of Georgia. That was bad, since we were all experiencing thunderstorms (which is how the topic came up.) Smiley: laugh None in the same cities, though.

GLA/PLD -> 34
Upto Haukke Manor in Story
MIN -> 41/42 (Can't quite remember) Takes so long to level it's quite depressing.

Not a very productive weekend considering I spent almost all Saturday playing!

Fiancee seems to enjoy the fact we can level multiple jobs. We spent the weekend leveling my Murauder and her Arcanist to 18 (as of last night). I had spent some time making us all HQ sets for our gear, though she needs a serious update.

Sadly we are in Limsa... FAAAAAAR from my nodes... I will have to take a trip soon back to civilization to get supplies. I did find that Limsa FATEs are relatively deserted though, making for getting maxed EXP easy.
